Today we are sharing a conversation with new author, Monica Ritchie, to discuss her new book, “Fashioned by Faith,” and all things spiritual disciplines — what they are, how to fit one or two into an already full life, and what to do if you have an aversion to the word discipline altogether. Katy and Monica also discuss how hard it is to find a healthy church, especially as a woman who has theological training and Monica shares openly about her own journey struggling to find community.

Make sure you stick around for our bonus episode with Monica only available for Second Service members on Substack where Katy asks Monica how she balances manages to make meaningful, authentic content about her faith without being performative. Don’t forget, you can join Second Service for just $12 a month to get access to all our exclusive content and get your first 7 days for free when you click the link below.
