  • Where Is My Pink Cloud? What Nobody Tells You About the First Months After Birth
    2026/10/05

Did you expect a pink cloud after birth and find something different?

A few days after her birth, a mum I support asked me: "Where is my pink cloud?"

In this episode, I talk about the postpartum story nobody tells, the middle. Feeling nothing in the first hour. Love that takes weeks. Baby blues that linger. And why not every hard feeling needs fixing.

I share a conversation that humbled me, a story from a mum in our community, and my own very different experiences of falling in love with my babies.

This episode is for new mums, for pregnant women wondering what is coming, and for the partners, mums and friends who want to know what to say.

Join us at the Krish Yoga Studio: live postnatal and prenatal yoga, a monthly coaching call with a specialist in mothers' mental health, and a community of women who say it out loud.

  • Why Is Birth So Difficult If Our Bodies Are Designed to Do This?
    2026/08/26

This episode is for anyone pregnant and wondering how birth actually works, and just as much for anyone who has already given birth and still finds themselves thinking about it a lot.

    In this episode:

    • Why your body doesn't need to perform labour, only to get out of the way
    • The hormonal reason labour needs safety and privacy to progress
    • Why hospital environments can unintentionally work against your body
    • Why grief for the birth you wanted and gratitude for a healthy baby can coexist
    • Where KGH Hypnobirthing genuinely helps, and what it can't promise
    • Why a caesarean birth or induction is never a sign your body failed you

Note: this episode assumes mum and baby are healthy. If there's a real clinical reason behind how your birth unfolded, this isn't about second-guessing decisions made to keep you both safe.

If you're pregnant and want real support putting this into practice, my Calm and Confident Mama course, pairing KGH Hypnobirthing with antenatal education, yoga and postnatal support, opens for a new live round on the 29th of August.

It's not pre-recorded, it's live, real time guidance.

  • From Fear to an Aura of Calmness: Sophie's Hypnobirthing Hospital Birth Story
    2026/07/06

Sophie came to the Calm and Confident Mama hypnobirthing course after two months of bed rest, having consumed birth horror story after horror story on her phone. She was terrified. She had a firm plan for an epidural. She is based in Japan, a country where hypnobirthing is virtually unknown and where a calm, physiological birth is not the default.

In only six weeks, everything changed.

In this episode, Krish tells Sophie's story — with Sophie's own voice woven throughout — from where she started to what her birth actually looked like. Including the moment she told her partner she needed the epidural. What he said back. And what the midwife wrote in her notes afterwards.

    In this episode:

    • How two months of birth horror stories shaped Sophie's expectations
    • What six weeks of daily preparation actually looked like
    • What happened when labour slowed down at the hospital
    • The transition moment and how Michael knew exactly what to do
    • Why Sophie was loud during labour
    • What the most painful part of the birth actually was

This episode is for you if:

    • You are pregnant and frightened about what birth will be like
    • You have been consuming birth horror stories and want to hear something different
    • You are wondering whether hypnobirthing is worth it
    • You want to know what the preparation actually looks like in practice
    • Your partner is unsure about their role
