Pete ditches us for vacation, so I bring in the one guest who has survived more Disney trips with me than anyone else: my wife, Ani. She didn’t grow up as a Walt Disney World kid, but she did grow up on classic Disney movies, and her first real park experience came after we got married, when I made the rookie mistake of trying to do everything at once. That early chaos becomes the launch point for a blunt, funny, and surprisingly useful look at how Disney travel changes when you’re balancing marriage, kids, energy, and expectations.

We talk about what Disney does better than other vacations, including the cast member moments that feel genuinely magical, and what it does worse, like price gouging and the pressure to squeeze value out of every minute.
