  • The Greatest/Pastor Femi Paul /Warfare Wednesday (July 2026)
    2026/07/01
Pastor Femi Paul continued our teaching series with a heart-searching message titled "The Greatest!" Drawing from 1 Corinthians 13:13, we were reminded that while faith, hope, and love are all foundational to the Christian life, the greatest of these is love. Challenging the world's measures of greatness, Pastor Femi declared that money is not the greatest, power is not the greatest, fame is not the greatest, luxury is not the greatest; love is the greatest. Reading from Matthew 7, we learned that a person's true identity is revealed by their fruit, not merely by what they profess. True godliness is demonstrated through a life transformed by God's love. Building on this truth, Pastor Femi showed that without love, even the greatest acts of faith, sacrifice, or service lose their value before God. The evidence of a Spirit-filled life is not found in impressive words or outward achievements, but in the fruit the Holy Spirit produces within us, beginning with love. As we yield to the Holy Spirit, His presence shapes our character, producing a life marked by joy, peace, kindness, faithfulness, and above all, love. The message left us with a profound reminder: the greatest evidence that Christ lives in us is not what we accomplish, but how deeply we love. Confession: Lord, thank You for loving me with a love that never fails. Let Your Holy Spirit continually shape my heart until love becomes the fruit of everything I say and do. May my life reflect Your character, my actions reveal Your presence, and my love point others to You. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

  • Love in Action/Pastor Femi Paul/Mid-Year Special Thansgiving Service
    2026/07/05
Love is not a noun. It is a verb. This week, Pastor Femi Paul shifted the conversation from what we believe about love to what we actually do with it. Drawing from 1 John 3:18–19, we were reminded that love is more than words, emotions, or good intentions; it must be demonstrated through sincere and practical action. Building on the truth that love is the essence of God, Pastor Femi explained that kindness is the essence of love, making kindness the clearest expression of love in action. Through the parable of the Good Samaritan, Jesus shifted the conversation from "Who is my neighbour?" to "Go and do the same," teaching us that genuine love is revealed in compassion, kindness, and a willingness to meet the needs of others. The message challenged us to move beyond lip service and become people whose actions consistently reflect the love of Christ. Looking at the early church in Acts 2, we saw a community whose generosity, hospitality, and genuine care for one another caused them to be respected, admired, and attractive to those around them. Pastor reminded us that our actions either validate or contradict our profession of faith. The call was clear and deeply personal: now is the time to put God's love into action, as PFP concluded, "I know you can; I trust you will." Confession: Lord, thank You for loving me so completely and unconditionally. Let Your love move beyond my words and become evident in my actions every day. Fill my heart with kindness, compassion, and sincerity, so that my life points others to You and reflects the love of Christ wherever I go. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

  • Loving God's Way – The Role of the Holy Spirit/Min. Eshema Momoh/Interactive MidWeek Service
    2026/07/08
Min. Eshema Momoh continued our teaching series with a practical and insightful message titled "Loving God's Way – The Role of the Holy Spirit." Drawing from 1 Corinthians 13:4–7, Romans 5:5, and Galatians 5:16–17, we were reminded that God's kind of love is not something we manufacture through willpower or good intentions. The love described in Scripture—patient, kind, selfless, and enduring—is the very character of Christ, and it can only be consistently expressed as the Holy Spirit works within us. We learned that God's love has already been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, making Him the source and strength behind a life of genuine love. The message challenged us to stop relying on human effort and instead walk daily in step with the Holy Spirit. As we yield to His leading, He empowers us to overcome the desires of the flesh and produces the character of Christ within us. Loving God's way is therefore not simply a command to obey, but a life to be surrendered to. The more we walk with the Holy Spirit, the more His love becomes visible through our words, attitudes, and actions, revealing Christ to the world around us. Confession: Lord, thank You for pouring Your love into my heart through the Holy Spirit. Teach me to depend on Him daily, so that my thoughts, words, and actions reflect the love of Christ. Let Your Spirit continually shape my character, enabling me to love Your way and become a true reflection of Your heart. Amen.
