Your host, Natalie, talks to you about her experience with trying to find joy in the every day!

I've pushed myself (and probably others around me) so hard in every aspect of life to build "the dream life". In doing so I've found myself in the constant cycle of wanting more. After the pandemic, we’ve all found ourselves, or at least a very large majority of us, reassessing our lives - are we happy? What do we want? Who do we want to be?

After a serious burn out episode, I found myself questioning every decision I’ve made life-wise and career-wise as I found myself seriously not enjoying the path I was once so adamant on going down. I'm on a mission to live life now and be present in the present.

The places I turned to for support all came from people who have come out the other side. They had been through the journey, come off the rollercoaster and for most part, had put together a paid-for course to get me out the other side too. The Winging It Life podcast explores the different techniques I’ve been trying to put myself back into the direction of happiness! I’m definitely not out the other side and so I’m using this as a bit of a journal to hold myself accountable while letting anyone else that’s in a similar boat know what I’ve been trying and the results I’ve been getting.

My intention is to provide comfort to anyone else in the same situation and perhaps provide a little inspiration to live life to the full. I’m totally winging this - some days I’m great, other days I fall back into similar patterns, but life is a journey right - it’s about discovery not perfect.

Success can mean absolutely anything; the goal is to enjoy the journey.

  • What if you're trying to manifest the wrong thing?
    2026/08/25

I've been trying to manifest a very specific house on a very specific road.

And I've been trying really hard.

The problem is, I'm starting to realise that maybe the universe hasn't been refusing to give me what I want. Maybe I've been so focused on the exact thing I've decided I want that I've missed the possibility that there's something better coming.

In this episode, I talk about what I'm learning about co-creating with the universe rather than trying to force an outcome, and the difference between knowing the essence of what you want and becoming attached to exactly how it has to arrive.

I also tell you the slightly bizarre story of how the universe may have helped me find a ring I'd lost for almost a year.

Whether you believe in manifestation, the Law of Attraction or simply the idea that sometimes we need to stop forcing things and allow ourselves to be open to other possibilities, this is a conversation about trusting the process, letting go of control and asking whether the thing we're chasing is actually the thing we want.

Because maybe you don't need to manifest the house.

Maybe you need to manifest how you want to feel in your home.

And maybe there's a difference between giving up on what you want and trusting that it can arrive in a way you haven't imagined yet.

  • When did we forget how to play?
    2026/08/17

I went swimming yesterday morning and, for about ten seconds, decided to stop treating exercise like another thing I needed to optimise and pretended I was Ariel instead. 😂 And weirdly, it changed my entire mood.

It got me thinking about happiness, manifestation and something I've been exploring a lot recently: perhaps the things we're chasing aren't really what we're chasing at all. During infertility and IVF, I thought a baby was the thing that would finally make me happy. Looking back, underneath that desire I was also desperately searching for relief, peace and the feeling that everything was going to be okay.

And I still do it now. The promotion, the house, getting my book published, even deciding whether a pedicure is a sufficiently productive use of my lunch break. There's always another milestone promising a feeling on the other side.

In this episode, I'm thinking out loud about personal growth, happiness, manifestation, productivity, infertility and learning how to find those feelings in the life I'm living now, even if sometimes that means being a nearly 40-year-old woman doing mermaid kicks in a swimming pool full of very serious adults.

Maybe the question isn't "What am I chasing?"

Maybe it's "What feeling am I actually looking for?"

And when was the last time you did something simply because it felt good?

The Winging It Life Podcast explores happiness, identity, mindset and the messy process of building a life that feels good while it's still unfolding. Because happiness shouldn't have to wait.

One other thing I'd keep an eye on: "When was the last time you played?" could become a really good recurring theme in the book too.

Because it's not just about play. It's about the difference between doing something because of where it gets you and doing something because of how it feels while you're doing it.

That distinction feels increasingly central to what you're trying to say.

  • The story you tell yourself, is your story
    2026/08/10

What if some of the things we believe about ourselves aren't facts, but stories we've been telling ourselves for so long that we've started to believe they're inevitable?

In this very spontaneous episode, recorded during the Lion's Gate Portal, I find myself thinking about limiting beliefs, manifestation, the Law of Attraction and the stories I've carried throughout my own life. I've always believed I'd need IVF, that I'd have to do things independently, and that I was destined to be wealthy. But how much of our reality is shaped by the beliefs we hold before we even make a decision?

I also get very honest about our decision not to move house, why I was more willing to take the financial risk, and how the story we tell ourselves can influence the paths we choose.

It's a bit of a ramble, but perhaps that's exactly what this podcast is supposed to be sometimes.

What story are you telling yourself about who you are, and what if you decided to rewrite it?

The Winging It Life Podcast explores manifestation, mindset, happiness, identity, personal growth and the messy process of building a life that feels good while it's still unfolding.
