In Episode 7, we cover bourbon news and Den updates before Chris, Bennett and Travis join us to review the twelve double oaked whiskies that were drafted by our three teams in last month's episode. We took the average of their scores for each of the bottles to determine the final ranking and let's just say, there were certainly some surprises!

In Episode 6, we breeze through updates on bourbon news so that we can spend time telling you about our latest barrel pick from a defunct distillery: OZ Tyler! We discuss the fascinating history of this distillery that is now known as Green River and talk about our experience with picking two amazing barrels of this whiskey. We then have an incredible opportunity to try 20-year old Heaven Hill whiskey before diving into our main segment: a drafting competition where three teams had the opportunity to draft the best four bottle line-up of double oaked whiskey. We look forward to bringing three listeners onto the podcast next month to judge our lineups and declare a winner!

In Episode 5, we once again give our regular updates before diving into the national news highlighted by a Jack Daniel's warehouse collapsing! We give an exclusive sneak peak into our upcoming whiskey release created at The Whiskey Blendery that we are calling Slovenian Select. For our main topic, we are launching the first in a series of interviews with liquor store owners to find out what it's like to work in that industry. What are the perks? What are the stressors? What makes these businesses succeed? We will be exploring those topics in the series and are kicking it off by interviewing the owner of an up and coming store in Fort Worth called Liquor Library.

In Episode 3, we will once again cover local drops and national news before being surprised by a pop quiz on BTAC. We meet our guest host for the month, Jesse, who surprised us with an insane unicorn bottle. The main event is a blind where each member of the podcast brought their favorite bottle of whiskey they acquired in 2024 and we put them in a blind to determine The Whiskey Den's Best Bottle of Bourbon in 2024! Most important, we introduced a charity that we are excited to be working with that is raising money for families in need using bottles of whiskey.
