このコンテンツについて
If you want talk, games and fun all rolled into one, well, you've come to the right place. Welcome to "The Game Show", the talk show all about the world of television game and competition shows. On each episode, host Bradley Clarke discusses a topic pertaining to the television genre he knows and loves. Plus, to add to the conversation, Bradley will be joined by a special guest who is knowledgeable in the episode's topic. Every episode of "The Game Show" also features an original game played by the special guest during the "Game of the Day" segment, and to close out the show, Bradley performs his “Bradley Parody”, an original parody song that has a connection with the episode. If you know which British television personality was famous for saying the catchphrase, “Nice to see you, to see you nice”, "The Game Show" is a program you will definitely enjoy. On this episode, the milestone seventy-fifth in the series, Bradley gets the opportunity to chat about a topic that he has never devoted a full episode of “The Game Show” to, U.K. game shows, and joining Bradley as his guest is someone who has worked on many game shows across the pond. Over the course of his incredible career, Bradley’s guest worked on “The Chase” and “Pointless” as a question producer, “Tipping Point” and “Catchphrase” as a series producer, and “1000 Heartbeats” as a game developer. He is Ed Egan. During their conversation, Bradley talks with Ed about all of the shows mentioned above, and they specifically pay tribute to “The Chase”, as the franchise recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, and Ed is the creator of the specific question algorithm that is definitely a contributor to the success of the show both in the U.K. and worldwide. Then, for the “Game of the Day”, Ed gets a chance to play “Clarke’s Perfect Recall”, a version of “Wogan’s Perfect Recall”, which is a U.K. game show that he worked as a question producer back in the late 2000s. Plus, for this episode's "Bradley Parody", the Bradster performs a parody song all about the six people whose job is to show-off their smarts and take down their opponents, the Chasers. To the tune of “She’s a Lady” by Tom Jones, “Bradley Parody” number twenty-six is called “They’re the Chasers”. Enjoy!
