  • #145 - ‘Training for the afterlife’
    2025/04/24

Is this whole life thing, the human experience, somehow a workout for what's to follow in the great gig in the sky? Are we experimenting, learning, exploring ways to be ourselves & co-exist with other humans & beings? Can we touch heaven on earth or hell equally? I don’t know the answers to these mysteries... but hey, no harm in having a good aul chat about it!

  • #144 - ‘No horse high enough’ (Invitation, support, challenge or judgement?)
    2025/04/17

In this episode, I take a close look at how we communicate with each other. What is our motive/intention if we want to say something to someone? Particularly if that is a challenge, a call out, or we are inviting someone to explore something? How do we receive such information? What about passive/aggressive radio silence communication? Which in fact is the loudest form of communication. I do focus on the ‘high horse brigade’ & how their clipped, judgmental, condescending approach creates a particular unpleasant dynamic-there’s something about that sanctimonious, fake victim tone that can turn the stomach & hurt your head. We also explore pashmina diverse culture & how they hide behind the ‘I'm cool & reasonable’ veneer. Either way, lets examine what we are saying to each other, why we are saying it, & the all important how we are conveying our messages.

  • #143 - ‘Autonomic for the people’ (The brain/gut axis)
    2025/04/10

In this episode, I take a deep dive down into the gastrointestinal tract, more commonly referred to as our gut. I highlight how this is far more than a feeling/sensation in our tummy, this starts in the mouth & travels right through to the bowels & anal canal. I also explore the relationship between intuition & the gut, trauma triggers, critical thinking & integration...
