It says, "My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:" We look at why people tend to despise His chastening and the danger that that puts them in. We also look at what happens when we become weary of His correction. We then look at how we should respond to His correction and chastisement so that we can act on it and use it to our advantage, allowing the Lord to help us to make our life better and more in alignment with the will of God.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:10. It says, "So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst forth with new wine." We look at what this verse means for us, what the barns are in our life and what it means for them to be filled with plenty in a practical way. We also look at what the presses are in our life and why they burst forth with new wine in opposition to any wine.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast we look at Proverbs 3:9. It says, "Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase." We look at the difference honoring the Lord makes and what exactly we mean by our substance and our increase. We also look at the special significance that's attached to offering up our first-fruits and how we can all follow this command in our lives today.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:8. This verse says, "It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." We look at what exactly this verses is teaching us. We look at what health means here in the eyes of God and why He points out our navel specifically, we look at its spiritual significance. We then look at why He also mentions the marrow of the bones and what that entails for us toady.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:7. It says, "Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil." We look at the dangers of being wise in our own eyes and what that really means on a practical level. We also look at the importance of having the fear of the Lord in our life and the difference it makes. Then lastly we look at the necessity of departing from evil and what happens when we do so.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:6. This verse says, "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." We look at what exactly it means to acknowledge God and how we can do that on a practical way in our daily lives. We look at the difference doing so makes in our life and on our future and we look at what it means for us that the Lord directs our paths and how He does so. We all should desire for the Lord to direct us and He will if only we'll acknowledge Him.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:5. Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." We look at the difference that trusting in the Lord makes and how we do it with all our heart. We look at what 'with all our heart' really entails and how we can lean not on our own understanding, choosing rather to lean on God and on His Word. Trusting can be hard sometimes but we see why it's necessary and the difference having God's guidance as an active part of our life will make for us.

In this episode of the Treasury of Solomon podcast, we look at Proverbs 3:4. This verse says, "So shalt thou find good favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man." We discuss how exactly it is that we find favor and what it means to have favor in operation in our life. We look at the difference it makes in every area of our lives. We also look at the importance of having good understanding and what makes it 'good'. We then look at how we find it and the importance of finding these things instead of acquiring them some other way. We can find favor and good understanding, they can be our's today if we take God at His Word and follow His commands.
