    The next day, Shelly was so worried that she discussed Domino Storm with Mister Time about his condition. Mister Time — Jerald Murphy — stood before Shelly with his Bible open to Revelation 13.

    His voice was calm at first.

    MISTER TIME:“Shelly, I need you to listen to me. Not as a preacher talking down to you, but as a man trying to warn you before you walk somewhere you don’t understand.”
    He placed his finger on the page.

    MISTER TIME:“Revelation 13 speaks of a beast with the appearance of a leopard, the feet of a bear, and the mouth of a lion. That’s not a bedtime story. That’s a warning.”
    Shelly looked away.

    SHELLY:“Jerald, Domino isn’t a beast.”

    Mister Time paused.

    MISTER TIME:“I didn’t say he was.”
    He closed the Bible halfway.

    MISTER TIME:“But something is happening to that man. And before you give your heart completely to him, you need to know what you’re dealing with.”
    Shelly became defensive.

    SHELLY:“You don’t know him like I do.”

    MISTER TIME:“And that’s exactly what concerns me.”
    He looked toward the window.

    MISTER TIME:“I’ve been trying to teach people about Revelation for years. Every time I tell them the hour isn’t here yet, I look around and wonder how much longer I can say that.”
    His voice became heavier.

    MISTER TIME:“The time is not yet… but it feels close. Too close.”
    He turned back toward Shelly.

    MISTER TIME:“I’m not telling you that Domino cannot change. I’m telling you that if you love that man, you ought to want him to know Christ.”
    Shelly was silent.

    MISTER TIME:“Don’t try to save him yourself, Shelly. You can’t cast away darkness by loving it harder.”

    He opened the Bible again.

    MISTER TIME:“He needs Christ.”

    Shelly whispered.
    SHELLY:“You really think there’s a demon in him?”
    Mister Time hesitated.

    MISTER TIME:“I think there are things about Domino Storm that I don’t understand. And when a man begins changing in ways that defy explanation, a Christian shouldn’t ignore the spiritual question.”

    He looked directly at her.

    MISTER TIME:“I’m not asking you to hate Domino. I’m asking you to pray for him.”
    A long silence followed.

    MISTER TIME:“Because if the warning is coming… I don’t want you standing beside a man who never prepared his soul.”

    Mister Time looked down at Revelation 13.

    For the first time, even he seemed troubled by his own words. And Shelly saw that.
    MISTER TIME:“Lord… give me time to reach them.”

    He closed the Bible.
    But he didn’t look relieved.
    He looked like a man who feared there might not be much time left.

    After the captain captured the giant seahorse man with a net and hook, he was pulled up from the water, asleep from the dart. The ship was still rocking from the chaos.

    But in the middle of it all, Amarah and Flip held each other close. While the storm raged around them, they brought something peaceful aboard the ship—love.Then, as they held each other close, Amarah and Flip began to sing to one another. Their voices rose above the rocking ship as they sang these words:

    “There’s no one in the world like you.And there’s no one else that can take the place of you.”
    Amarah and Flip were on their way back to the United States from Africa when their singing aboard the ship was recorded. The footage was later seen on television, capturing the two of them holding each other and singing in the middle of the chaos at sea.

    Someone heard something special in their voices and decided to put music to the recording.
    When the song reached the recording studio in America, Big Man Kerisma brought it all together. What began as a moment between Amarah and Flip aboard the ship became a finished record—and it made Amarah an even bigger star as they returned to the United States.

    Sphinx Bazel watched Amarah and saw how deeply she loved Flip. Seeing the love between them made Sphinx ready to return to the United States to see his own girlfriend, Katrina, who had been sick.

    And the song didn’t stop there.

    It reached Amarah’s other friends, too—Domino Storm and Shelly. Hearing Amarah and Flip sing to each other was something they needed to hear.

    It was the perfect time for Domino and Shelly to hear “Captured by Love.”

    The song had crossed the ocean, crossed the airwaves, and found its way into the hearts of everyone around them. Even the men and captain on the ship.

Domino was not himself. He had been hiding and keeping away from his girlfriend Shelly. He looked in the mirror at himself. He had the stare of a leopard. Sometimes his eyes were brown, but when he got angry, his eyes turned green. Shelly had been keeping her distance too because she knew Domino had not been in a great mood. Sometimes she would call him but there was no answer.Days would go by and Domino would spend time looking at himself in the mirror. He looked at his birthmarks. Not the two spots on his right arm that got him his name but the big birth mark that ran down his neck to his back. He noticed that it was growing thicker. He was getting big fuzz on his right arm and hand. The other hand and arm stayed bare. The birthmark on his back and neck wasn’t always noticeable but the birthmark became slightly raised, textured, and grew darker, coarse hair.He looked up at the picture of his great grandfather who was born almost with paws and leopard like feet. He took things after his great grandfather but he felt he was worst off than him. There was small evidence that Domino was born with something that was very rare.. He had a mark and nub left connected to his tail bone from an operation when he was born. He never told Shelly. All the women he dated never knew but Domino wondered what the woman he’d marry would think of him.As soon as he thought of Shelly, he heard a knock at the door. He grabbed his long sleeve shirt with a collar to hide what he had been nervous about showing the world. When he opened the door it was Shelly. She said to him : I have been trying to reach you for some weeks now. Are you alright?Domino: Oh yea, I’m fine. Come on in.Shelly: You know uhm.. I ran into Minister Time today.Domino: Minister Time. Your hand! She reached out to touch it.Domino hid his hand behind his back. “Oh girl, it’s nothing.”Shelly: No, let me see.Shelly took his hand and held it. And she rubbed the round thick fur that was growing on the back of his right hand.Shelly: Is this real?Domino looked a little embarrassed and said: Yea it’s real.When Shelly was about to go up his sleeve he took his arm away looking down at the paper and said: Let me read the paper. Amarah and Flip in trouble? Captain George accuses them and Heavy Weight Champion Sphinx Bazel for strange science. A giant sea man captured.As Domino read through the article, his mind drifted elsewhere. The news of Amarah and Flip being involved in something dark and potentially dangerous was unsettling, but it paled in comparison to the turmoil brewing within him. He could feel Shelly's lingering gaze on him, full of concern and curiosity. For a moment, the gravity of their situation was lost in the noise of his inner battle."Domino, please. Talk to me," Shelly urged softly, her eyes searching his for answers. "This isn’t just about the fight. You’re dealing with something more than just nerves. What’s going on with you?"Domino sighed, feeling the weight of her stare. He could no longer hide the truth. “It’s just… I’ve been feeling off. My body feels different. And I—I don’t know how to explain it.”Shelly shifted closer, her hand reaching out again, this time gently wrapping around his forearm. “You don’t scare me, Domino. I care about you. All of you. Just tell me what you’re feeling.”His walls began to crumble, the fear of rejection boiling down to the need to be understood. He slowly removes his shirt. "You see these birthmarks? They were never just marks. They feel like a reminder of something I can’t escape. Like I'm transforming into a wild beast. And sometimes…” he trailed off, catching a glimpse of green in his reflection. “Sometimes I can feel that part of me trying to break free.When Shelly saw his chest and back she became frightened. His condition was much more serious than she imagined. She instinctively steps backward.Domino catches her before she can run, but instead of restraining her aggressively, he pulls her into a close embrace. He told her, “Shelly, look at me.
