In this introduction episode, hosts Adelle Martin and Fiona Shoults share why they created the show and what listeners can expect from each episode.

Over the years, both Adelle and Fiona have met countless professionals with extraordinary stories of challenge and resilience. In the first year of building Stronger Together Through Cancer, they heard even more from small business owners navigating chronic illness, burnout, financial pressures, family responsibilities, and everything in between, all while trying to keep their businesses going.

Alongside this, they were developing the Angel Partnership, an initiative in which business owners make ongoing donations from their products or services. These Angels not only sustain the work of Stronger Together Through Cancer but also have inspiring stories of their own. Featuring them on the podcast became a natural way to support their marketing while celebrating their resilience.

With Adelle’s experience as a co-host of the Women in Business Radio Show and Fiona’s shared passion for storytelling, launching a podcast felt like the perfect next step. But they wanted it to be more than just a podcast. They wanted a platform for courageous conversations, meaningful connections, and real community, reminding us all that behind every business is a real person doing their best to hold it all together.
