    Stuart Strome is a research director for Gartner’s assurance practice, managing the legal and compliance risk management process research agenda. Much of his research focuses on the impact of AI regulations on legal and compliance departments and best practices for identifying, governing and mitigating legal and compliance-related AI risks. Before Gartner, Strome, who has a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Florida, held roles conducting research in a variety of fields, including criminology, public health and international security.
