Why did Jesus die the specific, violent death of crucifixion rather than dying of old age? In this episode, we challenge the popular assumption that all humans "deserve the cross" and unpack three distinct biblical layers to Jesus' death:

Why was Babel so bad?

The usual answers—pride, or refusing to spread out—don’t seem to fit the extreme consequence of the nations being alienated from God. In this episode we look at Genesis 6, Deuteronomy 32, and the New Testament to explore a bigger possibility: that Babel was humanity’s attempt to recreate the rebellion of the Watchers and seize divine knowledge that was never meant for them.
