  • 89. Healing Stored Trauma with Frequency Medicine, with Dr. Adam Suzman
    2026/08/16

Have you ever felt like you did everything right, changed your diet, ran the tests, saw every specialist, and you're still stuck with the same chronic symptom that just won't budge? That was Dr. Rachaele Carver's own story with eczema, and it's the story of so many patients who walk into her practice with a long list of labels and no real answers. In this conversation, she sits down with Dr. Adam Suzman, founder of Immortal Wellness, to talk about a piece of the healing puzzle that almost never gets addressed, the mental and emotional residue we carry in the body long after the original event is gone.

What You'll Learn in This Episode:

    • Why quantum physics is shifting our understanding of the body away from a simple lock and key model and toward frequency, vibration, and energy.
    • How unresolved emotional experiences, even ones we've consciously forgotten, can get stored in the body and quietly shape our health, our relationships, and how quickly we age.
    • What the "weed, seed, feed" framework looks like when it's applied to mental and emotional patterns instead of just gut bacteria.
    • Why Dr. Suzman believes anger and unresolved trauma can be more damaging to the body than we give them credit for, and how that connects to chronic disease and premature aging.
    • How Dr. Carver is using frequency-based tools like the Miracle Tooth alongside her clinical work to support the body's natural terrain instead of only treating symptoms.

    About Dr. Adam Suzman:

Dr. Adam Suzman spent twenty years practicing homeopathic medicine across South Africa, France, India, and Australia before shifting his focus to research and remedy development. He is the founder of Immortal Wellness, a company built around the idea that lasting health requires clearing the mental and emotional backlog we carry from our past, not just addressing the body on a physical level.

    Key Insights:

So much of this conversation circles back to one idea, that we are not just physical beings reacting to physical inputs. Dr. Suzman shares how his own remedies came out of a very personal discovery, that events he thought he had fully processed and moved past were still living somewhere in his body, quietly shaping how he showed up in relationships and in the world. Dr. Carver connects this directly to what she sees clinically, that patients with chronic, hard to explain symptoms are so often the ones carrying stuck emotional patterns underneath the physical picture.

They also get into the idea of terrain over germ theory, the belief that it's the environment inside the body, not just the presence of bacteria or pathogens, that determines whether we stay well or get sick. Dr. Carver ties this back to her own work in the mouth, where she's seeing that same principle play out on the microscope slide every day. And toward the end, the conversation lands somewhere beautifully simple, that healing often starts with just asking your own body what it thinks is wrong, and actually listening for the answer.

  • 88. Breaking Diet Culture: Carrie Lupoli on Beliefs & Blood Sugar
    2026/08/02

Ever catch yourself weighing yourself before you'll take a picture with your own kids, or quietly promising you'll "just" lose a few pounds before you let yourself feel good?

If any of that sounds familiar, this episode is going to feel like a long exhale. I sat down with Carrie Lupoli, a behavior specialist turned nutrition and mindset expert, and we went deep into why so many of us, and so many of our daughters, carry a belief that our worth is tied to how we look. Carrie calls it "the corset," and once you see it, you can't unsee it.

What You'll Learn in This Episode:

    • Why "calories in, calories out" is one of the most damaging myths in nutrition, and what actually drives lasting change in your body.
    • How Carrie's own daughters taught her, at ages five and six, that she was modeling diet culture without ever saying the word "calories."
    • The real reason 90% of diets and weight loss strategies fail, and why chasing weight loss instead of health gets you neither.
    • A simple, sustainable approach to blood sugar balance (PFC3: protein, fat, and carb together every three hours) that works for adults and kids alike.
    • Why a five-minute "morning time" practice built around gratitude, learning, and time blocking can be the difference between a regulated day and a reactive one.

    About Carrie Lupoli:

Carrie Lupoli spent 30 years as a behavior specialist working in schools, with parents, educators, and even corporations before turning that expertise toward nutrition and self-worth. After watching her own daughters absorb diet culture from her without her ever intending it, she went on a deep dive that led her to blood sugar science, behavior change, and ultimately her book, From Corset to Crown. She now works with tens of thousands of women through her practice and team of coaches.

    Key Insights:

Carrie's biggest reframe is that the diet, weight loss, and food industries aren't designed for your best interest, they're designed to keep you coming back. That's why nearly every nutritional certification is built on deprivation and caloric restriction, even though nothing in the body thrives in a deficit. Her approach, PFC3, is built on eating protein, fat, and carbohydrates together every three hours to stabilize blood sugar, which she calls the body's love language.

We also talked about identity versus goals. Carrie's philosophy is that you'll always be "a person trying to lose weight" until you start living as the healthiest version of yourself and let the results follow, rather than chasing a number that was never really the point. And we connected this directly back to oral health, using the "put your own oxygen mask on first" idea to talk about why moms who won't floss for themselves need to understand what they're transmitting to their kids.

  • 87. Homeopathy 101 with Joette Calabrese, What Every Parent Should Have on Hand
    2026/07/19

If you've ever stood in the pharmacy aisle wondering if there's another way, something gentler than another round of antibiotics, you're not alone. So many parents come into my practice asking the same question. Is there something else we can reach for before we go the prescription route? This episode is for anyone who has ever wanted a few trusted, natural tools on hand for the everyday bumps, illnesses, and dental moments that come up in family life.

I sat down with Joette Calabrese, a homeopathic expert who has spent decades teaching what she calls practical homeopathy, a simplified, protocol based approach that regular people, not just practitioners, can learn and use confidently at home.

What You'll Learn in This Episode:

    • What homeopathy actually is, and why it's often confused with the broader term "holistic"
    • The history of homeopathy in the US, including why it was pushed to the margins for decades
    • Why a young child's developing immune system benefits from fewer unnecessary interventions in the first few years of life
    • Specific remedies Joette recommends having on hand, including Arnica Montana, and what conditions each one can support
    • How to start building your own home apothecary and become the "go to" person your family and friends call on

    About Joette Calabrese:
Joette Calabrese has been teaching practical homeopathy for decades, helping mothers, grandmothers, and health minded people learn to use natural remedies with confidence and clarity. She runs the Academy of Practical Homeopathy and leads study groups through her Gateway to Homeopathy program, making a historically complex subject approachable for everyday families.

    Key Insights:
One of my favorite parts of this conversation was Joette's reminder that these remedies don't manipulate the body, they correct it. Whether the blood is too thick or too thin, whether the body is under or overreacting, homeopathic medicine works with the body's own intelligence rather than overriding it.

We also talked about why so many people are turning back toward these natural approaches. As Joette put it, people are tired of taking a pill to fix the symptom from the previous pill. That resonates deeply with how I practice dentistry too, always looking for the root cause instead of just managing symptoms.
