Welcome to the Retrieval Podcast where we're retrieving the Church of the past for the Church of today. Hosted by Andy Nichols, professor of Church History and Historical Theology at Ozark Christian College and Lincoln Seminary, and co-hosted and produced by Ben Jones, associate pastor at Gateway Christian Church, we explore the teachings of the ancient church, talking about how they can help us better love Jesus today.

Today we talk about the draw some people are experiencing towards Eastern or Oriental Orthodoxy, about what we appreciate in the Orthodox church, and ultimately, why we aren't part of them. We also work to reassure you - if you are in Christ, then you are a part of the Church.

Today we talk about the draw young people feel towards Roman Catholicism. We talk about how we've felt that draw, what the Catholic church does well, and why we aren't Catholic.

We invite people to a TRUE Catholicism - to rest in the truth that we belong to the Church if we belong to Christ, and to see other brothers and sisters in Christ as truly the Church.
