  • #171 We Agree to Disagree: Questioning Everything We’ve Been Told About Health
    2026/08/25

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode, Heather and Vanessa put their opinions on the table and ask: Do we actually agree?

Breakfast. Vitamin D. Detoxes. Coffee. Sunscreen. Raw milk. Parasite cleanses. Homeopathy. And even the idea that healing is supposed to be hard.

We don’t see everything the same way which is exactly what makes this conversation so interesting.

We talk about why our beliefs around health need to be allowed to evolve, why what works for one person may not work for another, and why supplements, research, and outside advice can never completely replace learning to understand your own body.

We also dive into the deeper side of healing: stress; emotions; spirituality; gratitude; trusting yourself; and recognizing that true health is about so much more than what you take.

Because healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. And you don’t have to blindly follow someone else’s rules to get healthier.

🎙 Listen to the episode and let us know what do YOU agree or disagree with!

Want support on your own health journey? Heather and Vanessa both work one-on-one with clients to help you look at the physical, emotional, mental, and deeper energetic pieces of your health in a personalized way.

  • #170 Inside the Homeopathic Pharmacy: Miro Posavec on Remedies, Cell Salts, Food & 20 Years of Homeopathy
    2026/08/18

    Send us Fan Mail

This week on the podcast, Heather and Vanessa are joined by Miro Posavec, founder of Bestmade Natural Products, for a fascinating conversation about homeopathy, cell salts, remedy manufacturing, food, and what it really means to look at the whole person.

Miro’s journey into homeopathy began with his own son’s health, and eventually led him from practicing classical homeopathy to building a homeopathic pharmacy that has grown from shipping a single box of remedies in 2004 to working with suppliers and customers around the world.

    We talk about:

✨ Miro’s journey into classical homeopathy and why he eventually left practice

✨ How Bestmade Natural Products grew over the last 20+ years

✨ Cell salts—what they are, how they’re made, and how Miro uses them

✨ Why he believes diet and obstacles to cure need to be addressed alongside remedies

✨ Classical remedies vs. newer, less-proven remedies

✨ Combination remedies and when Miro finds them useful

✨ His experience with remedy provings, and one particularly wild proving experience that changed his understanding of empathy and intuition

✨ Favorite remedies, flower essences, and some fascinating cases from his years of practice

✨ The importance of traditional food practices and what we’ve lost in modern life

    ✨ Regulatory challenges facing homeopathy

✨ His new 120-remedy kit and the Fast Remedy Picker software

    ✨ And so much more!

I especially loved hearing Miro’s perspective as someone who has spent decades not only studying and practicing homeopathy, but actually manufacturing remedies and seeing how they perform in the real world with thousands of customers.

This one is packed with stories, experience, opinions, and plenty to think about!

  • #169 Beyond the Remedy: Wren Lloyd on The Three Principles, Practice Building, and a New Model for Homeopathy
    2026/08/11

    Send us Fan Mail

Wren Lloyd joins the Quantum Health Connection podcast for a wide-ranging conversation about the path from being called to homeopathy to becoming a confident, supported practitioner. She traces the experiences that led her from Montessori education and self-study into clinical practice, practice-building mentorship, international service, and the creation of the Inspired School of Homeopathic Practice.

The discussion moves beyond remedies into the inner life of the practitioner. Wren explains how The Three Principles inform her approach to self-responsibility, perception, client care, trauma narratives, and professional resilience. Wren also shares about her model of apprenticeship-based education, about building community, ethical niche marketing, homeopathic detox, and the importance of helping graduates build viable practices.

    In this episode:

    • The early experience that first placed homeopathy on Wren’s radar
    • How education, motherhood, self-study, and formal training shaped her professional path
    • Why many graduates know how to do homeopathy but do not yet know how to be practicing homeopaths
    • The Inspired School’s apprenticeship model, live cases, small cohorts, and practice-building emphasis
    • Using a defined niche to communicate clearly without limiting who a practitioner can serve
    • The role of practitioner self-awareness and The Three Principles in client care
    • Creating supportive professional communities and reducing post-graduation isolation
    • Wren’s evolution from strictly classical training toward a broader clinical toolkit, including detox approaches
    • A nuanced discussion of thought, trauma, resilience, insight, and the meanings attached to experience

  • #168 Beyond Vitamin D: How Sunlight Powers Your Mitochondria with Jonathan Jarecki—Part 2
    2026/08/04
Send us Fan MailIn Part 2 of our conversation with Jonathan Jarecki, we move beyond the basic advice to “get more sunlight” and dive deeply into the emerging science of how light interacts with our mitochondria, cellular water, circulation, and circadian biology.Jonathan begins by challenging the familiar explanation that ATP is simply the “energy currency” of the cell. Drawing from the work of researchers such as Gilbert Ling and Gerald Pollack, he explores another possibility: ATP may play a crucial role in organizing water and building exclusion-zone—or EZ—water inside the body.We then examine how red and near-infrared light may support mitochondrial function. Jonathan explains proposed mechanisms involving cytochrome c oxidase, ATP synthase, electron flow through the mitochondrial electron transport chain, nitric oxide, and the production of subcellular melatonin. He also discusses why the absence of infrared light—and the abundance of isolated blue light—in modern indoor environments may place additional stress on our mitochondria. The conversation also takes an honest look at red-light therapy devices. Are high-intensity panels always better, or could the lower intensity and balanced spectrum of natural sunlight be more biologically appropriate? Jonathan shares his concerns about extremely powerful devices, explains how distance can reduce intensity, and discusses simple alternatives such as incandescent bulbs and reflected near-infrared light. We also explore the often-demonized ultraviolet portion of sunlight. Jonathan discusses vitamin D as a possible marker of sun exposure rather than the sole reason sunlight is associated with better health outcomes. He explains how UVA stimulates nitric oxide release, why that matters for blood pressure and circulation, and what research suggests about regular sun exposure, melanoma mortality, cardiovascular health, and other cancers. Finally, Jonathan offers realistic ways to create a more light-supportive lifestyle even if you work indoors or are not ready for direct midday sun.In this episode, we discuss:What mitochondria do and why they are essential to nearly every cell in the bodyWhether ATP is truly the body’s cellular energy currencyGilbert Ling’s ideas about ATP and cellular waterGerald Pollack’s research into exclusion-zone waterHow infrared light may affect electron flow and ATP productionCytochrome c oxidase, ATP synthase and the mitochondrial membrane potentialHow near-infrared light penetrates deeply into the bodyWhy trees and green spaces create infrared-rich environmentsWhether infrared light can penetrate clothingNatural fibers versus synthetic fabricsThe mitochondrial effects of isolated blue lightSubcellular melatonin and the body’s antioxidant defensesRed-light therapy panels versus natural sunlightWhy more intensity may not always produce better resultsIncandescent bulbs as a simple source of red and infrared lightWhy vitamin D supplements do not fully reproduce sunlight exposureUVA, nitric oxide, blood pressure and cardiovascular healthThe difference between chronic, regular sun exposure and intermittent burningSun exposure, melanoma mortality and other cancer risksWhy reductionist studies may fail to capture the full effects of sunlightMorning light and nighttime darkness as the foundations of circadian healthPractical ways to improve your light environment at home and workThe science may be complex, but the central message is beautifully simple: our bodies developed in relationship with the full spectrum of natural light. Improving that relationship does not have to involve an expensive device or a complete lifestyle overhaul. It can begin with stepping outside in the morning, welcoming more natural light into the day, and allowing true darkness to return at night.Connect with Jonathan Jarecki:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jonathanjarecki/ X: https://x.com/jonathanjarecki Youtube/Podcast: https://www.youtube.com/@thesignalwithjonathanjarecki Substack: https://jonathanjarecki.substack.com/ Support the showFind Heather:Book with HeatherHeather's Free Product Guide with Discount CodesHeather's Instagram Find Vanessa:Vanessa's Instagram Vanessa's Website Free Product Guide with Discount CodesFree Homeopathy at Home Guide Disclaimer: All interviews shared on The Quantum Health Connection Podcast are strictly for educational and entertainment purposes. • #166 Quantum Nutrition: Why Light Matters More Than Food with Ethan Okunas, MS, RD
    2026/07/21
Send us Fan MailEthan Okunas is a Registered Dietitian, founder of Quantum Dietitian, and author of Quantum Nutrition and Quantum Weight Loss.Ethan helps clients rebuild their health by aligning metabolism, rhythm, and environment at the level of energy. Rather than focusing only on food and symptoms, Ethan teaches people how to work with the upstream signals — light, timing, water, movement, and mitochondrial function — that truly shape how the body operates.Ethan shares how years of helping clients lose (and regain) weight led him to question conventional nutrition advice. That search ultimately brought him into the world of mitochondrial health, circadian biology, and quantum health, where he discovered that hormones are often driving metabolism rather than calories.Vanessa and Ethan unpack why thyroid dysfunction may actually be a protective response to mitochondrial stress, how our modern environment disrupts hormone signaling, and why optimizing light exposure often has a greater impact than changing what's on your plate. They also discuss restrictive diets, GLP-1 medications, sunlight, sleep, EMFs, grounding, structured water, meal timing, and practical ways anyone can begin reconnecting with nature to improve health.Whether you're struggling with fatigue, stubborn weight, thyroid issues, poor sleep, or simply want to understand the bigger picture of health, this episode offers a refreshing perspective that goes far beyond calories and macros. Here's what we cover in this episode:Ethan's journey from traditional dietetics to quantum healthWhy most weight loss advice fails long-termThe relationship between mitochondria, thyroid function, and reverse T3Why hormones (not calories) ultimately regulate body weightWhat GLP-1 medications reveal about metabolismThe pillars of Quantum Nutrition beyond foodWhy sunlight is one of the most powerful health interventions availableThe importance of complete darkness for sleep and recoveryHow blue light and non-native EMFs affect metabolismSimple ways to reduce EMF exposure at homeWhy meal timing matters as much as food qualityThe role of grounding, structured water, and movement in energy productionThe truth about restrictive low-carb and carnivore dietsWhy adding seasonal carbohydrates can improve metabolism, sleep, and performancePractical daily habits that support circadian biology and mitochondrial healthEnjoy the episode!Connect with Ethan Okunas:Coaching: https://quantumdietitian.com/coaching1eBooks: https://quantumdietitian.com/store-ebooksPaperback Books: https://quantumdietitian.com/store-paperbacksSupport the showFind Heather:Book with HeatherHeather's Free Product Guide with Discount CodesHeather's Instagram Find Vanessa:Vanessa's Instagram Vanessa's Website Free Product Guide with Discount CodesFree Homeopathy at Home Guide Disclaimer: All interviews shared on The Quantum Health Connection Podcast are strictly for educational and entertainment purposes.
