  • Do We Actually Miss the Past, or Did Everything Just Used to Be Better?
    2026/09/30

Are we actually nostalgic for the past, or has pop culture just gotten worse?

This week, we’re going down the pop-culture memory lane—from Practical Magic and endless Hollywood reboots to old-school Kardashians, Real Housewives, Y2K fashion, Abercrombie trauma, Mary-Kate and Ashley, the disappearance of tween culture, and why reality TV used to feel a lot more real.

We also get into how Black culture shapes mainstream fashion, why some trends lose their origins once they become popular, the current horror renaissance, and whether it’s possible to recreate the feeling of the movies, TV shows, and fashion we grew up with.

Plus: Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Drake fans, terrible wigs, statement necklaces, Mahjong, and several completely unnecessary detours.

    Welcome back to Petty Behavior.

  • Men Need to Explain Themselves: Red Flags, Petty or Valid & Toxic Dating
    2026/09/08

This week, Nicole and Shanice have questions for men, the internet and honestly society at large.

After a Petty Check-In covering bad breakfast orders, questionable beauty marketing, traffic rage and the people currently under judgment, the sisters move into Men Need to Explain Themselves and discuss the behaviors men may think are attractive but which instead produce an immediate ick.

Next comes Toxic Would You Rather, featuring an assortment of romantic scenarios in which apparently nobody is allowed to know peace. Would you rather date a man who follows 3,000 Instagram models or one who follows nobody? Find out he cheated once or discover he’s secretly been DMing his ex for six months? Have access to his location forever or unrestricted access to his phone for ten minutes?

Shanice also recaps seeing Jack Harlow in Atlanta, from waiting for barricade and meeting fellow fans to helping a first-time concertgoer get Jack’s attention.

Later, Petty or Valid puts birthday posts, unanswered texts, strategic reply times, post-breakup unfollowing and questionable wedding invitations on trial.

The sisters also tackle the things society needs to stop pretending are normal, including the internet’s obsession with humiliating strangers over minor mistakes, before moving into red flags, oversharing, friendships with exes and why sometimes disliking someone requires supporting research.

Finally, Nicole and Shanice make their cases for Pettiest of the Week, with one sister embracing committed investigative hating and the other advocating for a more relaxed, low-calorie form of pettiness.

Basically: dating, delusion, red flags, Jack Harlow and judgment.

    As nature intended. 🎙️
