This week we are bringing you one of the most infamous stories that come from our favorite city, Asheville NC.

You can take a ghost tour, or 5, in Asheville and one story that is a must tell is the massacre that left 5 people dead, but seemed to have opened a portal for souls in one of our favorite spots in the city.

On November 13th 1906 29 year old Will Harris arrived in Asheville to surprise an old flame. But when he couldn't find her he went on a rampage, firing at anyone who dared to even look in his direction.

While his rampage covered a few city blocks, the building where Bailey's is currently located on Biltmore Ave. has seen spirits from that tragedy, and more. Having also been the site of the city gallows, it really is no surprise that many reports of paranormal activity have been given, right along side 5 star ratings for their amazing food and drinks.

We are back with my least favorite topic this week, a cult. And this is not just any cult, but I'd say one of the top five worse/most infamous cults, The People's Temple.

Jim was a lonely child starved of attention and affection. This caused him to act out in bizare, and later dangerous ways. As Jim grew his interest went to radical political beliefs like communism, but he also championed for integration and Civil Rights.

But it wouldn't take long before Jones began to speak about his own divinity and the nuclear war that would end the country. Of course he was the savior that would led them through it, in California for now.

This week we take a look at what the US really wants with the ice sheet known as Greenland. It was such a random thing for the current administration to go after that I just had to know why.

Then I learned that the US had already had their dirty hands on the ice that covered this island. And what they did there was a secret for many years.

But now the waste that was left behind by their little billion dollar project is said to become exposed by the year 2100. And that is going to be all of our problem.

Back in 1980 soldiers at a US airforce base in the UK began seeing strange lights in the sky.

For days they saw and reported crafts and lights of no known origin above and in the forest surrounding their base. They even went so far as reporting their sightings to the local police, but as you can imagine they were not taken seriously at all.

Lets head back to the West Coast as we look at one of the most haunted houses in the US.

Built in the 1850's the Whaley house was made as a home for Thomas and Anna Whaley and their 6 children. But it would be so much more than that. It housed a theater troupe, a courtroom, and a general store.

But even before there was a house there, this land was used as the local gallows. One of the last executions was that of a infamous criminal, who, like many of the Whaley family has decided this will be his eternal resting place.

This week we are taking a more historical look at a person who seem to be super human rather than just human.

Jack Churchill was not born a war hero but it didn't take long for him to get that title when he finally join the military. During WW2 troops were given machine guns, rifles, bombs and all manner of weapons to fight against the nazis, but that was not Jack's style.

Mad was added to Jack's name due to the fact he would go into battle with nothing more than a broadsword and long bow. Oh yeah, and he played the bagpipes while going into battle.

What a guy.
