  • Ep 85 | Christ Alone: Your Debt Wasn’t Reduced, It Was Canceled
    2026/09/03

What if the sins and failures you’re still carrying have already been nailed to the cross?

In this episode of The Narrow Trail, we continue through Colossians 2:11–14 and unpack what it means to be made alive with Christ.

We talk about the “circumcision made without hands,” the ongoing battle between the flesh and the Spirit, why struggling with sin is different from living comfortably in it, and why our salvation can never depend on our own performance.

We also share a personal story about a simple fast that exposed just how desperately we need Jesus. If salvation were 99% Jesus and 1% us, we’d fail in the 1% every single time.

But Scripture doesn’t say Jesus reduced our debt to something we could eventually pay off.

    He canceled it.

He took the record that stood against us and nailed it to the cross.

So if Christ has already dealt with your past, why are you still allowing it to define you?

Your failures don’t get the final word.

    Jesus does.

    📖 Scripture: Colossians 2:11–14, Galatians 5, Romans 6

Keep walking with us on The Narrow Trail.

  • Ep 84 | You Already Have What You Need: Stop Waiting and Start Walking
    2026/08/31

The guys are finally back! After a long break, a few work trips, and a brand-new studio, Cameron and Hunter jump right back into Colossians 2.

This episode gets personal as the guys talk about comfort, evangelism, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the responsibility we have to actually step out and use what God has given us. Cameron also shares a moment that seriously convicted him about whether we're really being the church for the people who need Jesus—or just the people we’re comfortable being around.

Then they dive into Colossians 2:8-15 and Paul's warning about human philosophy, traditions, and teachings that can sound right while pulling us away from Christ. The guys talk about why Christ has to be the standard we measure everything against—and why even something that sounds biblical should still be tested against Scripture.

And maybe the biggest lesson of the episode: you don't have to know everything before you can tell someone about Jesus. You don't need more knowledge—you need more of Christ.

The guys are back, the studio is finally done, and they're jumping straight into the deep end. Come walk with them on The Narrow Trail.

    2026/08/06

The guys continue through Colossians 2 and unpack Paul's warning about false teaching, empty philosophies, and arguments that sound convincing but pull people away from Christ. • Ep 81 | Jesus Above Everything: Why Christ Must Be Preeminent
    2026/07/23

Before Paul tells believers how to live, he reminds them who Jesus is. In this episode, the guys unpack one of the most powerful passages in Colossians, exploring what it really means for Christ to be preeminent—above all creation, the head of the Church, and the One who holds everything together. They talk through why Jesus isn't just an important part of life, but the very reason life exists, how that changes the way we face anxiety, suffering, and purpose, and why real obedience always flows from seeing Christ for who He truly is. If you've ever wondered what it looks like to truly put Jesus first in every area of your life, this conversation is for you.

  • Ep 80 | Walking Worthy: When Faithfulness Matters More Than Followers
    2026/07/20

Are we chasing God's will, or are we chasing results?

This week, the guys continue through Colossians 1:9-14 and unpack Paul's prayer for spiritual growth. They talk about what it really means to walk worthy of the Lord, the difference between good works and true fruit, and why knowing God changes us far more than chasing emotional experiences ever could.

The conversation takes a personal turn as Cameron shares a conviction the Lord brought to his own heart about measuring success by podcast numbers instead of faithfulness to Christ. Together, the guys wrestle with a challenging question every believer has to answer: If no one ever noticed your obedience, would Jesus still be enough?

If you've ever struggled with finding God's will, questioned whether your life is producing fruit, or found yourself measuring faithfulness by visible success, this episode is a reminder that Christ isn't calling us to be impressive—He's calling us to abide in Him.

Our success isn't found in followers, downloads, or influence. Our success is found in Christ.

    2026/07/16

  • Ep 78 | Religion vs. Relationship: What Jesus Actually Wants
    2026/07/13

Can you be religious... and still completely miss Jesus?

This week, the guys wrap up their study through Galatians by diving into one of Paul's strongest warnings against legalism. It's easy to focus on looking like a Christian while forgetting what actually matters—a heart that's been made new through Christ.

The conversation covers carrying each other's burdens, church hurt, judging people by outward appearances, and why the cross is the only thing any of us have to boast in. Along the way, the guys share personal stories, practical examples, and reminders that following Jesus has never been about earning His love—it's about trusting what He's already done.

If you've ever struggled with feeling like you weren't "good enough" for church, or you've been weighed down by religion instead of experiencing the freedom of the Gospel, this episode is for you.
