Have you ever asked God for forgiveness—and then felt like you needed to do more before you could believe you were forgiven?
In Hebrews 1:1–4, the guys look at who Jesus is before the book ever tells us to hold fast. He is the Son, the Creator, the One sustaining all things, and the exact expression of God’s nature. When life feels overwhelming, it matters who we’re holding on to.
But one phrase brings the conversation close to home: after making purification for sins, He sat down.
The guys talk about the significance of Christ’s completed sacrifice and how easily prayer, Bible reading, and confession can become attempts to earn forgiveness. Those things belong in our walk with Christ. But they cannot finish a work He has already accomplished.
Before Hebrews calls us to endure, it shows us why Jesus is worth trusting. Our hope rests in who He is and what He has done.
Keep walking with us on The Narrow Trail.
