  • Nobody Is Coming To Save You (AI, Jobs & Future Discussion)
    2026/10/22

Artificial intelligence is not coming. It is already here. It is in your job, your home, your bank, and your children's future. And nobody is coming to save you.

In this bold, wide open conversation, executive strategist Keith D. Terry sits down with two experts who live inside this every day to ask the questions most people are afraid to say out loud. What is AI really doing to our work, our power, our families, and our humanity? And the one that matters most. How do you win instead of getting left behind?

This is not hype and it is not fear. It is the honest conversation about artificial intelligence, the future of work, and what it takes to stay human in a world changing faster than ever. If you have felt the ground moving under you and did not have the words for it, this episode is your map.

    In this episode:
    • What AI can actually do right now that most people still do not understand
    • Whose jobs are truly at risk, and whose just became more valuable
    • How a regular person wins with AI instead of being replaced by it
    • Who is accountable when a machine makes a decision about your life
    • How to protect your family from scams, deepfakes, and voice cloning
    • What still makes us human when machines can do almost anything

  • My Son Died. I Didn't Move On. I Learned to Carry Him.
    2026/09/30

There are some losses you do not recover from because recovery suggests you can somehow return to the person you were before they happened.

On August 7, 2022, one day before my birthday, my 24-year-old son, Kyle Nathaniel Terry, died by suicide. There was a Keith before that day and a Keith after that day. They are not the same man.

For a long time, I thought grief meant finding my way back. Eventually, I realized there was no going back.

In this deeply personal episode of The NEXT BIG THING, I ask a different question:

What can grief build in us after it destroys something we can never replace?

Nearly four years after losing Kyle, I share what grief has taught me about time, leadership, ambition, faith, strength and what actually deserves a piece of our lives.

I also challenge something we often tell grieving people: that eventually they need to “move on.”

I did not move on from my son.

    I moved forward carrying him.

If you are grieving someone, I will not tell you to find the lesson, turn your pain into purpose or get over it. Instead, I will leave you with the question I am still answering:

What would it mean for you to move forward while carrying the love with you?

  • Corporate America Changed the Deal. Nobody Told the Workers.
    2026/08/25

Corporate America changed the deal. Most workers are still playing by the old rules.

For generations, Americans were told that hard work and loyalty created career security. Build your résumé. Earn the promotion. Stay valuable. Trust the institution. But what happens when the institution stops making the same commitment to you?

In this episode of The NEXT BIG THING, Keith D. Terry examines the forces rewriting the future of work: artificial intelligence, corporate restructuring, disappearing management layers, shorter executive tenures, and the explosive rise of fractional executives.

But this is not really an episode about fractional executives. It is about your career, your income, and who controls your professional future.

Keith makes a provocative argument: depending on one employer for your income, identity, benefits, retirement, and sense of purpose is not necessarily security. It may be concentrated risk disguised as stability.

Drawing from decades of executive leadership, Keith introduces the idea of portable value, the skills, judgment, experience, relationships, and proven results that remain valuable regardless of who employs you.

Then he asks the question every working American should be able to answer:

What do you do that someone would pay you for if your employer disappeared tomorrow?

If you cannot answer that clearly, this conversation may change the way you think about your career.

  • You Negotiate Everything Else. Why Are You Giving Away Your Vote?
    2026/07/28

You negotiate your salary. Your contracts. Your business deals. Your board seats. So why would you give away your political power without negotiating what you expect in return?

In this provocative episode of The NEXT BIG THING with Keith D. Terry, Keith challenges the Black professional class to rethink the relationship between political loyalty and political leverage.

This is not an argument for Democrats or Republicans. It is an argument about power.

Black professionals are among the most educated, accomplished, and economically influential people in America. Yet Keith argues that the same discipline used to negotiate compensation, contracts, investments, and careers often disappears at the ballot box.

Using voting patterns, wealth data, and economic outcomes, Keith asks an uncomfortable question: If a political party already knows where your vote is going, what incentive does it have to compete for it?

This conversation goes beyond Black politics. It is about political leverage, accountability, economic power, and whether any voter should give unconditional loyalty to any political party.

Your vote has value. The question is whether you are negotiating with it.

  • Your Grocery Bill Is Not an Accident.
    2026/06/10

Your grocery bill is lying to you and somebody made that decision. Keith D. Terry names exactly who is paying the tariff tax, why the small business owner is being used as a shock absorber for a trade war they did not start, and why the Federal Reserve says the worst price increases have not even hit yet. Nobody escapes this — not the retiree, not the executive, not the wealthy, and Keith closes with the one conversation every American needs to have before this week is over.

  • America Is Not Polarized. America Is Afraid — And Fear Is Being Monetized.
    2026/05/28

Someone is getting paid every time you are afraid.

The cable news industry generates over seven billion dollars annually. The global attention economy generates over six hundred billion. The product driving those numbers is not information. It is your anxiety. And three systems — cable news, political fundraising, and social media algorithms — are profiting from both sides of the political divide simultaneously.

In this episode, Keith D. Terry argues that America is not polarized. America is afraid. Drawing on research from MIT, Gallup, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and the American Psychological Association, Keith builds the full architecture of the fear economy — and delivers a three-part framework for reclaiming clarity as a leader.

Fear does not stay on the screen. It walks into the boardroom.

This episode will show you how to opt out.

  • Resentment Never Built a Single School. Wealth Did.
    2026/05/14

Why do so many hardworking people never build real wealth?

    Not because they lack intelligence.
    Not because they lack discipline.
Not because they are not trying.

In this solo episode of The NEXT BIG THING with Keith D. Terry, Keith challenges one of the most uncomfortable truths about money, success, and ownership:

    Resentment does not build wealth.

This episode is not a defense of billionaires.
    It is not hustle culture.
It is not a prosperity gospel.

It is a direct conversation about the hidden money stories that shape how people think, spend, save, invest, build, and avoid financial responsibility.

Keith explores why many capable people remain financially stuck, even when they work hard, earn income, and know they should be doing more. He also examines the racial wealth gap, generational wealth, faith, money, ownership, investing, and the belief patterns that quietly shape financial outcomes.

In this episode, you will hear:
    • Why resentment never creates wealth
    • Why money is not evil, but the love of money distorts people
    • How prosperity gospel thinking damages real wealth building
    • Why criticizing an unfair system is not the same as learning how the system works
    • Why ownership matters more than income
    • How wealthy people think about assets, time, investing, and long-term strategy
    • Why financial freedom requires belief, behavior, discipline, and action
    • The 72-hour wealth-building assignment Keith gives every listener

This episode is for anyone who cares about financial literacy, wealth building, generational wealth, entrepreneurship, investing, leadership, faith, money mindset, personal growth, and ownership.

    The question is simple:

Are you avoiding wealth building because you lack information, or because of what you believe about money?

  • 7,000 Diseases. 4,800 Drugs. The Gap in Modern Medicine
    2026/05/07

What if the biggest problem in medicine is not discovery, but what gets funded?

In this episode of The NEXT BIG THING with Keith D. Terry, Keith sits down with Barbara Goodman, President and CEO of Cures Within Reach, to unpack one of the most overlooked challenges in healthcare: the gap between scientific possibility and what actually reaches patients.

With more than 7,000 diseases worldwide and fewer than 5,000 approved drugs, the system does not fail because of a lack of ideas. Many promising treatments never fail scientifically—they fail financially.

Barbara shares how her organization is addressing this “missing middle” by funding proof-of-concept clinical trials that unlock new uses for existing therapies and accelerate access to care.

🔍 In this episode, you will learn:

    • Why many promising treatments never move forward in traditional drug development
    • How financial incentives shape what gets funded in healthcare
    • What drug repurposing is and why it is gaining momentum
    • The role of off-label use in real-world patient care
    • How AI is accelerating the identification of new treatment opportunities
    • Why some of the most impactful solutions may already exist

This conversation goes beyond healthcare. It explores how systems prioritize, how innovation actually happens, and what it takes to move ideas from possibility to real-world impact.
