    Have you ever wondered why Jesus gave the example of how to start a prayer? He wanted the people to know the importance of beginning with giving honor to God. God is holy and we must not be disrespectful with coming with requests. This was a guideline Jesus was giving the people, because they didn't know how to pray. Keep in mind, this was before Jesus' death. Now we have a personal relationship with God and can speak more freely. It is important to know there is no wrong way to pray from your heart. Marcus shares this devotional about the importance of starting off the respectful way when coming to God.
