  • Called Beyond Comfort- EmpowHer Women's Event
    2026/03/17

I had the privilege of speaking at the EmpowHer Women’s Event this past weekend, surrounded by some truly incredible women. And my assignment? To make everyone a little uncomfortable.

    And I did.

Because here’s the truth: we are not called to stay comfortable.

It’s in the uncomfortable seasons where real growth happens, where we’re stretched, refined, and prepared for the goodness waiting on the other side of obedience.

So let me ask you, my friend: What areas of your life are you choosing comfort over your calling? What nudges have you been ignoring?

Purpose doesn’t live in the easy.

This world needs you to be bold and a braver version of you!

Take a moment today to lean in… even if it feels uncomfortable.

  • The Obstacles Will Always Be There, So Book the Trip
    2026/03/11

In the middle of coming off one of the hardest seasons we’ve had, and recently moving a few weeks ago, life is crazy, and we had every reason and obstacle saying now was not the time to head on an impromptu family trip.

    But then something hit us.

We started thinking about how many summers we actually have left with our oldest daughter before she’s grown and doing her own thing. And suddenly, all those obstacles that felt so big, like time, money, logistics, the mess of moving, didn’t feel nearly as important.

So we did something a little impulsive.

    We booked a last-minute trip.

And it ended up being exactly what our family needed.

Today I want to talk about why the obstacles will always be there, why waiting for the “perfect time” usually means it never happens, and how some of the best family memories come from the trips you almost didn’t take.

  • Who Do You Need to Have a Car Ride Conversation With?
    2026/03/03

I had an unexpected aha moment when I started driving my kids to school each morning. Something about being in the car makes conversation happen. Whether it’s light and funny or deep and hard, they can’t help but talk.

It made me realize how desperately we need real conversations. The good ones. The uncomfortable ones. The honest, messy, healing ones. And maybe… they need to happen in a car.

After walking through a tough season with my teenage daughter and noticing some negative changes, I decided to try it intentionally. We got in the car and just drove. No agenda, no time limit. We kept going until we had both said everything that needed to be said. That drive changed in many positive ways.

So I want to ask you: Who do you need to take for a drive?

Maybe it’s your child. Maybe it’s your spouse. Maybe it’s a friend.

Whoever it is, and whatever that looks like for you, I highly recommend this method. Sometimes healing doesn’t need a big plan. Sometimes it just needs a tank of gas and an open road.

  • Accountability: Your Secret Weapon Against Failure
    2026/02/24

I’ve been part of an incredible group recently, one that offers rewards, growth, andresults. But here’s the catch: it requires daily check-ins. Daily accountability. No hiding. No skipping. No excuses.

And it made me realize something uncomfortable…

How many goals have I not accomplished simply because no one was holding me accountable but me?

In today’s episode, I’m talking about the power of accountability and why it might be the missing piece between where you are and where you say you want to be. We often blame lack of time, motivation, or clarity, but sometimes the real issue is this: no one is checking in.

If you’ve ever started strong and fizzled out… If you’ve ever set goals that quietly disappeared… If you know you’re capable of more…

    This conversation is for you.

Let’s talk about why accountability isn’t punishment; it’s protection against failure.

  • Getting Back on Track in Your Marriage After a Challenging Season
    2026/02/20

It should come as no surprise that I’m passionate about building and maintaining a healthy marriage. But today, we’re talking about something I don’t discuss much and that is what it actually looks like to survive the hard seasons.

Grief. A big move. A new baby. Career changes. Stress that comes out of nowhere.

Even the strongest marriages can drift into survival mode during these seasons. Communication gets shorter. Patience wears thin. Connection feels harder. Before you know it, you’re in a rut, not because you don’t love each other, but because life has simply been heavy.

If you’ve been feeling distant, stuck, or just not quite like yourselves lately, this conversation is for you. The good news? It is never too late to get back on track.

Hard seasons don’t have to define your marriage. With intention, grace, and small consistent steps, you can rebuild stronger than before.

    Let’s talk about how. 💛

  • Our Joy Might Come With Another Person’s Pain
    2026/02/04

This episode holds both joy and grief in the same breath.

After receiving incredible news and finally moving out of tiny living and onto the family farm, we found ourselves celebrating a long-answered prayer. And yet, in the middle of all that joy, there was an awareness I strongly felt that our last night before the move may have looked very different from my father-in-law’s last night.

In this conversation, I reflect on the quiet truth that sometimes our happiest moments can sit alongside someone else’s hardest ones. Our joy might come with another person’s pain. Our answered prayers may exist at the same time as someone else’s loss.

This episode celebrates the good while still posturing our hearts with compassion and to remain grateful without becoming unaware, and to remember that we never fully know what’s happening on the other side of our joy.

  • WILDerness Season: Walking in the Hope (Part 2) with Amy Peopping
    2026/01/27

This is Part 2 of our Wilderness Season series, where we continue an honest conversation about what it means to walk through hard seasons without getting stuck there.

Last week, we talked about walking in the hard — grief, loss, and the unraveling of identity that often comes in wilderness seasons. This week, we shift the focus to hope and movement.

    Together we talk about

    • Gently pick yourself up after loss
    • Choose not to stay stuck in survival mode
    • Take imperfect but meaningful steps forward
    • Understand the vital role wellness and the "wellness wheel" play in healing emotionally, spiritually, and physically

This episode is for anyone asking: How do I move forward when I’m exhausted, unsure, or still hurting? You don’t have to have it all figured out, you just need to make that choice and take the next small step.
