Mayor Sean Wilson congratulates newly elected and re-elected officials in Waynesville, including City Council members Trudy Dills, Amanda Corrine, Bill Farnham, and Don Hayden. Weather conditions have delayed progress on the Little Heroes Playground, with updates to be provided as they become available.
• Park Board meeting scheduled for April 10th at 5pm, open to public input
• Kids to Park Day event planned for June 7th from 10am-2pm
• National speaker Officer Gomez presenting on protecting children online at Waynesville High School Auditorium on April 14th at 6pm
• Free tax services available at 201 North Street until April 15th, Monday-Thursday 9am-2:30pm
• City Council meeting set for April 17th at 5pm
• City hours adjusted on April 18th for Employee Appreciation Day (open 8am-10am only)
• Spring cleanup scheduled for April 17th-18th, items must be curbside by 7am
• Best Sapper Competition at Ruby Duke Park on April 26th
• Chemical and Biological Regiment's Best Warrior Competition on May 30th
