  • SPECIAL NEEDS PARENTING: What I Wish I knew
    2025/11/21

    Send us a text

When my child was first diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, I felt everything at once — fear, confusion, determination, and a longing to understand what our new world would look like.
If you’re listening and walking this road too… I see you. 💙

In this emotional and hope-filled episode of The Marvellous-U Podcast, I open up about the early days of diagnosis — the overwhelm, the appointments, the grief, the guilt, the isolation — and the truth that so many parents experience but rarely say out loud.

I share the things I wish I knew at the beginning of our journey:
✨ You are not alone — there is a community for you.
✨ You are enough — you don’t need all the answers on day one.
✨ Celebrate every milestone, no matter how small.
✨ Advocacy matters — your voice is powerful.
    ✨ Self-care isn’t selfish — it keeps you going.

This episode is a reminder that there is beauty in redefining “normal,” in finding unexpected joy, and in learning from your child’s strength, resilience, and love.

You are doing better than you think. Your love is enough. Your presence is powerful.
If you want to go deeper, my book Raising a Glass Baby offers more support from one parent to another.

🌸 I’d love to hear your story too — connect with me on social media so we can lift each other up.
And remember: whatever stage you’re in, just breathe, love, and know that you and your child are both marvellous. 💖

  • MORE THAN MUM: RECLAIMING YOUR IDENTITY
    2025/11/07

    Send us a text

In this heartfelt episode of The Marvellous-U Podcast, we discuss something that many women and carers experience but rarely express — losing sight of who you are while caring for everyone else.

I share a personal moment from my own journey — when I was juggling caregiving and motherhood — and realised I had become so focused on doing that I had forgotten simply being myself.

We’ll explore how life transitions, such as motherhood and caregiving, can blur our sense of identity, drawing on Erik Erikson’s stages of psychosocial development, which remind us that identity is not fixed — it evolves as we progress through different life stages. ✨

    In this episode, you’ll learn:
    • Why it’s normal to question who you are after major life changes
    • Common struggles like guilt, invisibility, and self-comparison
    • 5 powerful ways to reconnect with your true self — from journaling and rekindling passions, to reframing your story and celebrating rediscovery.

I’ll also share how reconnecting with my purpose through writing, studying, and entrepreneurship helped me rebuild my identity and rediscover myself.

Because when you find purpose, you find yourself. 🌸 💌

This week, I invite you to write a letter to your future self — a reminder that your roles may shape you, but they don’t define your worth. You are marvellously becoming — and that’s enough. 💖
