  • I hate my own voice, but creating content has taught me to accept it.

Have you ever recorded a video, listened to your voice, and immediately wanted to delete the whole thing?

    Same.

In this episode, I’m joined by Happiness, a content creator who also knows what it feels like to hate the sound of her own voice but still have something important to say.

We talk about the uncomfortable part of becoming a content creator: hearing yourself, watching yourself back, cringing at everything, and still pressing post.

Because confidence doesn’t always mean loving what you see or hear. Sometimes, it means hating it a little less each time and refusing to let that stop you from sharing your message.

Share this episode with that friend who needs to listen to this episode and see you in the next nail appointment!

  • All Day to Hate It. This was my first Podcast episode.
    2026/08/23

    Get in touch!

3 months ago, I launched the first episode of my podcast.

    It was 14:57 minutes long.

I spent THREE DAYS editing it.

The morning 16th of May I did it, I finally posted it and went to work.

By the time I got there, I overthink it so much,

    I hated it.

    So I deleted it.

Later that day, I told my mentor what I’d done.

    She said:

“You’re probably going to hate your first 10 anyway.”

    And she was right.

So, on my way home, I sat on a bench and posted it again.

At least now I had one video less to hate it

3 months later, I understand what she meant.

You can’t get better at something if you keep deleting every version of you that was still learning.

Sometimes the first one just needs to exist.

    Post it.

    Let yourself cringe.

    Then make the next one.

  • Mindset Part 2 • The art of reframing your Mind

I’m always thinking about the next idea, the next project, the next door I want to open.

So sitting down with a friend and talking about mindfulness felt almost ironic.

In today's Nails appointment we talked about ambition, relationships, overthinking, letting go, manifestation, and what it actually means to be present when your brain has 25 tabs open.

Not a podcast where we pretend we have life figured out.

Just two friends, two different perspectives, having the kind of conversation we normally have around the table, the ones that start with one topic and somehow end up questioning everything.

  • My story.
    2026/07/31

    Get in touch!

Every nail technician has a story.

Mine started long before I ever held a nail file.

It started with a little girl sitting beside her mum during her pedicure appointments, completely fascinated by every movement, every colour and every tiny detail. I had no idea that years later those same moments would become the foundation of my career.

In this episode, I share the story behind the woman you’ve come to know today.

From discovering the world of nails as a teenager to falling in love with an industry that most people see as “just beauty,” I discovered something much bigger. I realised we don’t simply do nails. We create a space where women feel safe, where conversations become therapy, where confidence is rebuilt one appointment at a time and where self-care becomes much more than a luxury.

But this story isn’t only about my career.

It’s about the day I lost my dad. About learning how to live with grief. About feeling completely alone at times. About starting over more than once. About questioning everything. And somehow, about finding purpose in the one place I never expected, behind a manicure table.

Today, when people ask me why I’m so passionate about this industry, the answer has very little to do with gel polish.

Because nails were never the destination.

They became the bridge that connected me to incredible women, gave me a voice, allowed me to rebuild my life and reminded me that sometimes the smallest acts of care can leave the biggest impact.

If you’ve ever wondered what really happens behind a nail appointment, why this profession changes lives or how passion can grow from the most unexpected places, I hope this conversation makes you see the beauty industry through a different lens.

This isn’t just the story of how I became a nail technician.

It’s the story of how nails helped me become me.

  • The struggles a content creator faces as beginner and advanced. Real conversation
    2026/07/28

    Get in touch!

What nobody tells you when you start creating content.

In this episode, I sit down with a YouTuber to talk about what actually happens behind the camera, finding your voice, learning to edit, overthinking every video, imposter syndrome, and that awkward feeling of “who am I to be doing this?”

We talk about how she started her YouTube journey, the struggles that came with it, and what she wishes she knew before pressing record for the first time.

If you’re a content creator, YouTuber, or aspiring creator figuring it all out as you go, this one might make you feel a little less alone, and maybe a little more confident about hitting record.
