  • MAD Extra 0102 Kim’s Story - Formation Audit
    2025/07/08

Welcome to "Kim’s Story - The Formation Audit," a compelling MAD Extra episode tied to "The Eden Chronicles: The Insiders," Episodes 1 & 2. Journey with Kim Chen as she awakens from the sleepwalk of success, inspired by a real-life coaching client facing the profound gap between achievement and authenticity.

In this introspective narrative, we delve into the unintentional forces that shape us: Habits, Relationships, Stories we believe, the Environment, and Time (HRSET). Kim's story is a mirror reflecting our own unconscious drift. From the digital buzz of notifications to the relentless chase for external validation, what are the hidden currents carrying you through life?

Guided by the wisdom of her mentor, Dr. Tom Harris, Kim embarks on a transformative "formation audit," challenging long-held narratives and embracing a powerful mindset shift. Romans 12:2 becomes a foundational mantra: "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind," not just in spirit, but as a blueprint for actual change.

Join us as we unravel the layers of unconscious formation and explore how to curate a life of intentionality. Through Kim's journey, discover the sacred work of becoming who you were always meant to be, illuminated by ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience.

Tune in to reflect, awaken, and reinvent your life's narrative. What might change if you became intentional about who you're becoming? Dive into the story and start your own journey of conscious formation.

    Questions for Reflection:

    • When was the last time you made a truly conscious choice about who you are becoming?
    • What hidden forces shape your life, and how can awareness transform them?
    • How can you apply the principles from Kim's journey to your own life?

  • BSS05 The Two Weapons They Use To Keep You in Line
    2025/07/06

Welcome to "The Tether," a space where deep, meaningful conversations flow as freely as the laughter and camaraderie around a well-loved dining table. In our latest episode, "The Two Weapons They Use to Keep You in Line," we explore the subtle yet powerful forces of comparison and competition that often dictate our lives, both within and outside the walls of our church.

Join us as we pull up a chair to the Tether Table, where mismatched cushions and chipped mugs set the stage for unfiltered honesty and vulnerability. We delve into how these two forces are wielded by the powers that be—whether church leaders, societal elites, or the systems themselves—to maintain control and keep us striving for worthiness.

Through personal stories and shared experiences, we confront the discomforting truth of how these dynamics play out. From being moved to the overflow room at church despite needing space due to a medical condition, to watching others receive blessings while feeling unseen, our narratives highlight the pervasive nature of feeling 'not good enough.' We unravel how this feeds into a cycle of self-doubt and dissatisfaction that mirrors the competitive world we live in, leaving us questioning our place and purpose.

The conversation takes a profound turn as we examine how the church, which should be a sanctuary of acceptance and community, often mirrors worldly hierarchies. Leaders seated at the front, distant from the congregation; the blessed separated from the struggling; and power structures that replicate societal norms, all underscore the painful reality of unmet expectations.

Yet, we don't linger only on challenges. The Tether Table becomes a place of hope and possibility. We dream of a community that transcends comparison and competition—where Kingdom culture is not just an ideal but a lived reality. We envision a church that aligns more closely with Acts 2: a devoted, generous, and alive community, even if that connection begins in a digital space like ours.

As we explore these themes, we acknowledge that change doesn't come from overthrowing systems; it starts within us. By choosing to build spaces free from rivalry and full of mutual support, we resist worldly pressures and move toward a life that honors love, vulnerability, and truth over power and prestige.

In the sacred silences and honest revelations shared at the Tether Table, we find encouragement and solidarity. We are reminded that while the journey to living authentically within a Kingdom culture is fraught with challenges, it's a path we walk together, tethered by our shared values and aspirations.

Thank you for tuning in and joining us on this journey. As we wrap up, we invite you to carry the conversation forward, to question, to listen, and to create spaces of belonging in your own communities. Until next time, stay connected, stay hopeful, and remember—the journey is not just about where we're going, but who we become along the way.

The Curator's Algorithm: Reclaiming Your Identity in a Digital World

In this transformative MAD Extra connected to The Insiders: Out of the Blue, we meet Olivia Webb—a marketing professional whose carefully curated online identity is suddenly stolen by a hacker. Just as Bran discovered who he truly was when stripped of his messenger status, Olivia must confront a challenging question: Who is she when her digital presence disappears?

This story, inspired by a real coaching experience, follows Olivia's journey through digital detox, identity crisis, and the discovery of a more authentic way of being. As her career and sense of self unravel, she encounters a forgotten scripture—Philippians 4:8—that offers a radical alternative to the social media algorithms that have been shaping her attention and identity.

Through Olivia's struggle, we explore how our digital environments form us, the neuroscience of attention and validation-seeking, and what it means to curate our lives according to different metrics: truth, nobility, and excellence rather than likes, shares, and follows.

Whether you're drowning in notifications or simply questioning the role of technology in your life, this MAD Extra offers practical wisdom for creating healthier digital boundaries and rediscovering who you are beyond the grid.
