  • How to Have Real Community
    2026/03/15

What does real, biblical community actually look like? In this sermon from the "Invitation to Joy" series through Philippians, we explore Philippians chapter 2 and the examples of Paul, Timothy, and Epaphroditus. These are three people who show us what it means to stop doing life alone and start putting others first. Real community isn't perfect, and it isn't convenient, but rather, it's built on genuine care, mutual sacrifice, and a willingness to be known.

Discover why the people who give the most are often the most joyful, how showing up when it costs you something transforms your relationships, and why God designed us not for independence or dependence but for interdependence. Whether you're longing for deeper friendships, wrestling with loneliness, or wondering what it looks like to truly belong, this message will challenge you to stop waiting for community to come to you and become the community you're looking for.

  • A Joyful Love Feast
    2026/03/08

What does it truly mean to pour out your life for Christ? In this message from the "Invitation to Joy" series through Philippians, we explore three key Greek words: agape, koinonia, and kenoo. These reveal the heart of what it means to follow Jesus with everything we have. Walking through Philippians chapters 2, 3, and 4, this message unpacks how Christ emptied Himself and became obedient to the point of death, and how we are called to do the same.

You'll be encouraged to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, to be anxious for nothing, and to discover that when you empty yourself for God's purposes, He fills you with an inexpressible joy. Whether you've been walking with the Lord for 40 years or are just beginning to sense His presence, this message will challenge you to find your place in the body of Christ and start pouring out for His glory.

  • How To Find Joy When We Suffer
    2026/03/01

What does it look like to find real joy in the middle of suffering? In this sermon from our series "Invitation to Joy," we explore Philippians 1:27–29 and discover that biblical joy isn't the absence of pain, it's the presence of trust. Using the analogy of running a half marathon, we unpack how seeing the finish line changes the way we endure. The Apostle Paul, writing from a Roman prison, teaches the church at Philippi three powerful truths: joy is durable and anchored in our citizenship in God's kingdom, joy is formed through resistance and purposeful suffering, and joy becomes courageous communion when believers stand firm together. We also look at how Jesus modeled this in the Garden of Gethsemane: naming His pain, surrendering to the Father, and enduring the cross for the joy set before Him. Whether you're walking through a hard season, struggling with loss, or feeling isolated, this message is a reminder that suffering with purpose produces something deeper than comfort ever could.
