It's a spooky season tradition! To celebrate October in style, the Legendary Ladies picked a horror show for their newest Pilot Pod - Netflix's Carrie! Amy, Kat, and Morgan settle in and chat about their history with the all time classic horror film, and Stephen King in general. They hosts then dive into the episode, discussing the benefit the pilot has of jumping right in with a story that everyone knows, how Michael Flanagan approached putting Carrie in the modern world of social media and school shooting drills, and how the pacing works so well for the episode. They also unanimously decide they'll watch episode 2...so buckle in for some theories!

All this and more on this week's The Legendary Ladies Podcast

The Legendary Ladies are officially back from the summer hiatus - and are heading to Sterling Point (in Muskoka, which is just so fun to say). Amy, Kat, and Morgan are thrilled to talk about one of the hottest shows out there, settling in for this pilotpod that just hits right. They chat about how the pacing seemed to play well into the episode, why Gen Z felt honestly represented, and the realism of that snappy dialogue that took the hosts back to the language of Gilmore Girls and The West Wing. They also muse why the main character didn't seem to know how far away Canada was, but decide they could ignore that in lieu of an otherwise entertaining 45 minutes.

The Legendary Ladies are back!! We're back from our hiatus to talk all things DC's new HBO show, Lanterns. Join Kat and Morgan (Amy will be back for next week's episode) as we discuss what worked and didn't work for us in the Lanterns pilot. Is there enough Green Lantern lore? What did we think about the characterization of Hal Jordan and John Stewart? And will we be watching more? Join us as we discuss this and more on our Lanterns PilotPod!
