このコンテンツについて
In today’s episode of Trusting Her Journey, we’re naming something many of us carry but rarely talk about...
the exhausting, unspoken identity of being “the strong one.”
You know the role.
You’re the one people call in a crisis.
The one who holds it together even when you’re unraveling inside.
The one praised for her strength, but rarely asked if she’s okay.
This episode is a real conversation about what it actually costs to always be the strong one.
We talk about the silent pressure so many women carry, the pressure to keep showing up, to never need help, to keep calling it strength even when it’s breaking you.
We share how that identity gets formed (through family, culture, and even faith), and how it slowly wears down your mind, body, and spirit.
You’ll hear our personal reflections and one gentle reminder:
You don’t have to hold it all.
You’re allowed to rest.
You’re allowed to need support.
And God isn’t asking you to carry what’s breaking you.
What You’ll Hear in This Episode:
- What being “the strong one” really looks like behind closed doors
- How your upbringing, faith, and culture shaped your view of strength
- Why overfunctioning feels familiar—but leads to burnout
- What it means to see rest and softness as faith, not failure (Matthew 11:28)
- A closing pause to check in with yourself and your soul
💡 Fuel for the Road Ahead:
- What are you carrying that feels too heavy right now?
- What do you need, but haven’t said out loud?
- What would it look like to be honest with yourself this week?
This is your space to stop pretending, let go of what’s too much, and start living from truth, not just survival.
Let’s talk about it.
