I was taking a walk the other day and I started thinking about that saying of being a wolf in sheep’s clothing and well - an assortment of other wolf themed ideas and thoughts. But it got me to thinking about having the wolf inside, the one that’s hungry and that’s fierce… and having to change who you are to make everyone else happy and comfortable. While maybe the regular connotation of being a wolf in sheep’s clothing is a negative one, in this episode, it’s about reminding yourself of your strength and power.

Whether it’s being “quieter” or less bold, excited, or passionate in your work or as I touch on, the requirement to be softer, more “feminine” more subdued and slowly stripping away who I was, it’s okay to allow yourself to take off that sheep costume and let the wolf that you were meant to be out. This is letting your strength speak for itself and all of the things that make you wonderfully and confidently you. So have you hidden your inner wolf away? How will you encourage the wolf to be seen and known again?

Sonny Lanegan is the frontman of the Italian industrial band Noir Addiction and comes from a vast musical background, including writing film scores and soundtracks. We met a few months back while we were working to get some shows finalised in London for Noir Addiction. The more I got to know Sonny, I was so interested in one - his extremely excellent work ethic, his drive to make things happen and how he is another that lives and breathes his art.

This episode is all about his work as a musician and following his instincts as well as finding the balance that works for him and his life. We spend a lot of time discussing the emotion behind music, the art of songwriting, connecting with the listeners and staying true to yourself. Sonny set out with a vision for Noir Addiction and it comes through in everything that they release. Check them out for a couple dates this October in London!

Finding pockets of time to build your dream life

This is one I love to think about and that I keep reminding myself of. I am definitely a bit of a workaholic and especially when it’s something that makes my heart so joyful so it feels good to do. But sometimes, it’s hard to fit in everything you love and that brings you joy to reach your goals.

The goals we have can sometimes feel too big for us to tackle on our own, or that they’re just too big to reach. But with anything, these are best tackled piece by piece. It’s hard when you’re looking up at a mountain and it seems you’ll never reach the top. But as you begin your journey, you get closer with every step that you take forward and it gets easier and easier. I like like using my pockets of time on say train journeys, standing in a queue or things like that to do little bits of writing, work on social media or make sure I’m caught up on messages.

Like anything, breaking the big goal down into small steps is the key to making progress. Remember that it’s consistent action that gets you where you want to go!

The Lurxx: Exile from Mainstream. Punk Rock and Hippies

We are back for another episode with the Lurrx and oh what a blast it was. This episode is all about crossing genres, breaking the rules and making your own. Where punks and hippies align and inspiration and love is drawn from every corner of the earth. That’s exactly what The Lurxx are about.

Xavi shares his story about moving through mental health struggles and how they both take care of each other and make the most of every day together. I always appreciate listening to their love of nature, and how they are the ultimate DIY band bringing everything back old school and sustainable. There’s an openness and vulnerability in everything they do that I think is so welcome in the days where everything has to be perfectly curated.

From DIY sustainable merch, hand written zines and newsletters, and growing mold for your own album art… It’s pretty punk rock. It’s pretty hippie. And we are living for it.

We have the joy of chatting with the fabulous Alan Gerber all about his latest album The Well. Alan is based in Quebec Canada and has been a musician his entire life. Today we’re taking it back to his roots starting out as a musician, with his band Rhinoceros and all the way to his recent albums The Well. He shares his insight on writing and creating this album and how there is so much strength in having a good community and good circle of people around you.

I found The Well remarkable because there are so many threads of family that run through it and honestly, listening to it on repeat lately it really brings the vibe of everything is bright and well in the world. David Rattenbury - Dave “The Ratt” was a blast to catch up with. We met a few years back in Southend where he was running a ViP event for the Lost Angels supergroup at Chinnerys. It was a blast as we’ve stayed in touch over the years and I’ve seem Dave develop his skills as a photographer and continue to level up.

He was invited out to the Birmingham Black Sabbath Back to The Beginning show in July, 2025 to celebrate Ozzy and the legacy that Sabbath has left behind. He has photographed a ton of events along the road but he shares a lot about the journey making his way to that stage and what he’s learned as a photographer as well as working with a number of artists on the road.

He shares a lot of insight here about etiquette and working with celebrities at all levels and giving a safe space in doing so that confidentiality is never breached and he truly looks at not only capturing the moment on photograph but capturing the moment in appreciating how special it is to be witness to different events and to relish in the moment itself.
