We have the joy of chatting with the fabulous Alan Gerber all about his latest album The Well. Alan is based in Quebec Canada and has been a musician his entire life. Today we’re taking it back to his roots starting out as a musician, with his band Rhinoceros and all the way to his recent albums The Well. He shares his insight on writing and creating this album and how there is so much strength in having a good community and good circle of people around you.

I found The Well remarkable because there are so many threads of family that run through it and honestly, listening to it on repeat lately it really brings the vibe of everything is bright and well in the world. The passion for the music and the love completely shines through this album. Be sure to check it out on streaming or pick up your own copy from his website.

Alan shares how so many of his family members had a place in making this album come alive as well as his local community and the community he has built over the years around the world. It was a treasure to hear his stories about his life, his music, the artists he’s worked with and played with as well as the love he has for music and art as a whole. He’s truly inspirational and reminds us what is important in life. Connection.
