Dr. Marc Halpern is the founder of the California College of Ayurveda and co-founder of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.

Starting his career as a chiropractor, Dr. Halpern’s own experience with illness led him to realize that true healing requires addressing the root cause of disease, not just symptoms. This insight sparked a deep exploration of holistic healing modalities such as Energy work, Yoga & Yoga Nidra, ultimately leading him to Ayurveda. In 1995, he founded the first formal, state-approved Ayurvedic college in the United States.
