Every man will experience being worn out, or exhausted from life. This is normal. What's not normal is burn out. Burn out is when a man is in a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged or excessive stress. It's often the result of feeling overwhelmed, drained, and unable to meet constant demands, which can lead to feelings of cynicism, detachment, and reduced accomplishment.

Naturally our flesh is selfish and only wants itself to be served. Our flesh is greedy and prideful, and desires other people to treat us fair and with respect, but it's a fight for us to do the same for others. Jesus showed us how we are to treat others, by willingly laying His life down for us, in the greatest example of humility and love ever shown. We are to do the same for others.

Life is hard. Our world is dark and evil. We get exhausted and overwhelmed. Jesus offers us a peace that can NEVER be found in this world. Jesus Christ is our peace!

The older I get, the more I realize the importance of having a daily routine that I stick to. Any time you start a new routine, we start off strong, but can easily get lazy and stop doing it. Let's purpose this year to make a good and healthy routine in our lives, and by God's grace, we stick to it one day at a time.
