Here is a New Mexico story. While not written down, many Outlaws in New Mexico had rules they followed back in the 1800s. Yes, rules of what to do and not do. Not written down other than writers of that era put them in stories. Eugene Rhodes, in several of his novels, wrote about these rules. Let me tell you some New Mexico outlaw rules that are even good rules today.
