概要
In which a weary traveller named Pythagoras finds himself in the company of the lord of Stoutenburg, whose temper flares at news of a certain wedding among the gentry, before generously offering wine and setting the philosopher on his way through a cold, dark landscape. Meanwhile, whispered conversations reveal tensions and bitterness surrounding loyalties, past betrayals, and brewing conspiracies as dawn breaks over the desolate Veluwe.
