My kids are all grown up.

And lately I've been wrestling with a question I never expected to ask:

Am I willing to grow with them?

As my children build lives of their own and my wife and I enter a new season of life, I'm realizing that the people I love most aren't the same people they were a few years ago.

Neither am I.

I wasn’t guided into manhood.

I was pushed.

No conversation.
No preparation.
No model to follow.

Just a moment that forced me to grow up faster than I was ready for.

Looking back now…
I realize that moment shaped how I showed up as a man:

As a father
As a husband
As an entrepreneur

And not always in the way I would have chosen.

It’s not a framework.

It’s a real story about what happens when a boy is forced to become a man…
before he understands what that even means.
