The Two Stacks Signature Blend Irish Whiskey brings its 2% Peated Malt to this Irish Coffee recipe and adds a wonderful layer of depth and complexity.
FOR A 6oz LIBBEY GEORGIAN 8054 IRISH COFFEE GLASS
-1 fl. oz. Two Stacks Signature Blend Irish Whiskey
-3.5 fl. oz. Freshly Brewed Coffee or Espresso - Medium Roast
-0.5 fl. oz. Demerara Syrup or 2 Teaspoons Demerara Sugar
-Freshly Whisked/Whipped/Shaken Heavy Whipping Cream to top
-*Optional Garnish - Ground Nutmeg or even some Cocoa Powder
KIT NEEDED
Serving Glass, Jigger, Warm Water, Cocktail/Protein Shaker or Small Glass Jar with Lid, Tea Spoon
INSTRUCTIONS
-Warm the Heat Proof serving glass with warm - not boiling - water and set aside
-Add the cold cream to a Small Glass Jar with Lid or a Cocktail/Protein Shaker and gently dry shake for 40 seconds - then set aside
-Tip the warm water out of the serving glass
-Add the Demerara Syrup or Demerara Sugar to the serving glass
-Add the Two Stacks Signature Blend Irish Whiskey to the serving glass
-Add the Freshly Brewed Coffee or Espresso to the serving glass filling it 90% or 9/10's to the top, and stir until the syrup/sugar is dissolved
-Float the cream over the bowl of a warm teaspoon held right at the surface of the coffee
-*Optional Garnish - with freshly Ground Nutmeg or even some folks may prefer Cocoa Powder depending on preference, or the time of year!
-Sip and Enjoy…Sláinte
