    Can you trust your intuition?

In this episode of The Farnham Health and Wellness Podcast, I talk with Kia Cannons, an artist, intuitive mentor and women's circle facilitator from Farnham, Surrey, about what happens when we begin listening to ourselves instead of living by other people's expectations.

We explore intuition, creativity, burnout, chronic illness, purpose, self-expression and the role that art, nature and community can play in supporting our wellbeing. Kia shares her own journey of rebuilding her life through creativity, and explains how visual journaling, women's circles and intuitive practice have helped her reconnect with herself.

Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, curious about intuition, looking for more meaning, or interested in creativity as a tool for wellbeing, this conversation offers a thoughtful perspective on finding your own path.

    In this episode, we discuss:
    • Intuition and self-trust
    • Burnout and chronic illness
    • Creativity and visual journaling
    • Women's circles and community
    • Art, nature and wellbeing
    • Purpose, courage and personal growth

  • When Did You Stop Dancing?
    2026/07/18

    When did you stop dancing?

Most of us moved naturally as children. We climbed, spun, swayed and danced without worrying what anyone thought. Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped. We began living more in our heads than in our bodies.

In this episode of the Farnham Health & Wellness Podcast, I talk with 5Rhythms teacher Catherine Stagg-Macey about why movement matters for our mental and physical wellbeing. Together we explore how reconnecting with the body can influence stress, anxiety, trauma, emotional health and our sense of connection with ourselves and others.

Our conversation covers the science of the nervous system, flow states, and the work of trauma researcher Bessel van der Kolk, alongside Catherine's experience of teaching 5Rhythms. We discuss why movement can be much more than exercise, how modern life encourages us to disconnect from our bodies, and what can happen when we begin to move again without judgement or expectation.

Whether you're curious about 5Rhythms, interested in nervous system health, or simply looking for a different perspective on wellbeing, this episode offers an invitation to reflect on one simple question:

    When did you stop dancing?
