  • Ep 5B: TUNNELING (with no intro)
    2026/03/25

Step into the depths of your own mind with our host Ryan Chandler in this special hybrid session of The Far Out Within.

In this episode, we blend the practice of shamanic tunneling with transcendental storytelling and guided meditation with a goal of clarity and self-discovery. By stepping into a first-person visualization alongside your spirit guide, you'll uncover hidden truths, make subconscious choices, and experience a revealing "trapdoor ambush" on your own mind.

Certain details are left out on purpose so you can use your imagination and subconscious to fill in the blanks.

What to Expect on Your Journey...

    • The Descent: Construct a deeply personal tunnel in your mind's eye and cross over into a new world.

    • The Encounter: Meet mysterious hooded figures at a campfire who offer you symbolic gifts and messages of deep personal meaning.

    • The Golden Guide: Follow a magnificent golden horse that will ultimately help you unlock the way home.

How to Prepare: To get the most out of this meditation, please set up your environment before pressing play:

    • Find a quiet room where you can eliminate all sound and light (a dim candle is fine).

    • Lie down on the floor, facing up, and make yourself as comfortable as possible.

    • Cover your eyes with your arm or a piece of cloth.

    • Focus on slow, natural breathing. Do not try to match the rhythm of the drum.

    • Note: Keep your device nearby. You are encouraged to pause the episode whenever you need more time to visualize and manifest your surroundings.

    Further Reading & Homework

    • Reading: If this hybrid tunneling method resonates with you, check out The Way of the Shaman by Michael Harner.

    • Homework: Explore your inner world this week. Open doors inside yourself, look under those existential rocks, and let your imagination and subconscious spend a little time together.

And please remember to rate, review, and follow The Far Out Within for more journeys into the mind!

  • Ep 4B: DAYDREAMS (without intro)
    2026/02/11

Why do we daydream? Is it merely a distraction, or is it a side effect of longing? Is it a map pointing us toward who we truly wish to be?

In this episode of The Far Out Within, we'll explore the disconnect we often feel from the natural world and how our imagination can serve as the closest sensation of freedom we have.

Join host Ryan Chandler on this journey of metamorphosis, where the boundaries of the self dissolve, the barren becomes lush, and we learn that the language of the universe is not spoken, but lived.

Don't let your dreams die on the vine. Make them your reality.

  • Ep. 2B: ADRIFT (without intro)
    2025/12/20

In episode 2, ADRIFT, we’ll dive beneath the surface of the "dry disguise" and return to your first mother: the ocean.

Through this guided reflection on transformation, we'll explore the ancient rhythm - the sacred heartbeat - that connects our blood to the brine, and learn what it means to truly let go. The salt in your tears and the rush of your blood aren't just biological—they are the ocean remembering herself in you.

Join host Ryan Chandler for a deep-sea journey into the "far out within" to remember the ancient, salty truth of who you are!

    In this episode, we'll explore:

    • The biological and spiritual connection between our bodies and the sea.

    • The process of "un-peeling" our earthly identities to find a deeper truth.

    • How to distinguish between silence and stillness.

    • The wisdom of the "ocean’s heart" and the lessons of the abyss.

This Week’s Homework: Your challenge this week is to identify the primordial voice calling to you.

    Is it the ocean?

    The wind?

    The stillness of a forest?

Once you identify it, take one physical step to get closer to that source. It is calling for a reason.

You were never meant to stay on land.
