(Virtually) travel with us to the old Markyate Cell estate, an impressive country house close by to the once infamous Nomansland Common, said to be the haunt of highwaymen.

And who was Lady Katherine Ferrers, the woman at the centre of this legend? Is it true that she disguised herself as a highwayman and robbed baggage wagons to replenish her family's fortunes?

With a dramatic retelling of its most well known version, this episode will also as always, try its best to explore how this legend came to be and take a look at its enduring legacy.
