  • Self Dating After Divorce - Putting Me Before We

    Self dating is an imperative step in the healing journey after divorce, prior to dating others, and should not be skipped. Many people bypass it because they are afraid of being alone and/or do not know how to start the healing process, but if you want to heal by discovering the best version of yourself - what you want and need to create a beautiful new life, then self dating is non-negotiable.

    Those who go straight from divorce to dating others will likely find the same partner - just a different name and face. This is because they have not taken the time to heal and reconnect with the version of themselves they are outside of the marriage - so the same relationship patterns will tend to repeat. You can break this cycle by doing the inner work, and that starts with self dating.

    Taking time to self date will improve your healing process immensely, and will allow you to find a partner in time who is drawn to the version of you who has healed and has more to offer in a relationship, because she knows herself and what she wants and needs to make her life amazing.
