Today’s Promise: 2 Thessalonians 3:16

More than ever, we need the peace of God. Our screens bombard us with fearful messages about one disaster after another. We aren’t sure who we can trust and what we should do next.

Jesus is the Lord of Peace. As the Lord of peace, He is the source of peace in our lives.

As you give your life to him, the Lord of Peace will fill you with His peace. It is a supernatural peace that goes beyond your understanding.

Today's Promise: John 17:13

In the last few hours before His crucifixion, Jesus prayed for His disciples. As followers of Christ, we can claim that prayer today.

Jesus prayed that God would protect those who followed Him and that they would receive the full measure of His joy.

Jesus was a joyful man. He was not the pious, sorrowful person as depicted in so many films—his joyful countenance attracted individuals and crowds.

Jesus' prayer for you today is that you live in the same measure of Joy that He did as He walked on this earth. Imagine living in the joy of Jesus every day.

Today’s Promise: 2 Peter 1:3

God has given you everything you need for life and godly living. His supernatural power has provided everything you will ever need to live the Christian life.

The God you serve is a generous God who willingly provides all you need.

The Christian life isn’t about struggling to perform or please God. The true Christian life is living in the blessing and power Christ has already given you.

Today, you have everything you need to live and walk in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Today's Promise: 1 John 3:19-20

For many Christians, Guilt is a way of life. When they pray, they feel overwhelmed by a sense of guilt and shame. Every time a service opportunity arrives, they feel unworthy for God to use them.

Once we confess and repent of a sin, God never brings it up again. God has removed our sin as far as the east is to the west. (Ps. 103:12)

God desires for you to live a guilt-free life by the power of the Holy Spirit. When you sin, you repent, receive forgiveness, and move forward in your Christian life.

Today’s Promise: Romans 5:3-4

If there was anyone who experienced suffering, it was the Apostle Paul. He was wrongfully accused, spent time in a Roman prison, and was even shipwrecked. Amid all these difficulties, he learned to rejoice.

Paul knew that God used suffering to transform his life and faith. As a Christian, suffering and pain work for you, not against you. Suffering causes a chain reaction of spiritual growth in your life.

Rejoice, knowing God is working to bring you through your most difficult situation.

Today’s Promise: Ephesians 1:17

The Apostle Paul opens the book of Ephesians with a prayer for the church in Ephesus.

First, Paul prays that God will give us a spirit of wisdom.

Wisdom is knowing how to live in line with the will of God.

Second, Paul prays that we receive revelation in the knowledge of God. You only know God through revelation.

The Holy Spirit moves the Word of God from your head to your heart.

The Holy Spirit teaches you, gives you wisdom, and reveals to you the Lord Jesus.

Today’s Promise: Hebrews 11:6

The Christian life is a life of faith. The only way to please the Lord is to live by faith.

Faith is trusting that God will do what He has said He would do.

This verse gives us two truths on faith.

First, faith begins with our belief that God exists.

Second, you must believe that God is the rewarder of those who seek Him.

Without faith, you stand alone, trusting in your strength and wisdom. When you live by faith, you walk in the favor and blessing of God, in fellowship with Him, and your life is pleasing to the Lord.
