  • Can You Ever Be 100% Certain? The Truth About Making Decisions in Uncertain Times

    Is it possible to be 100 percent certain when you make a hard decision? Maybe? Yes. No. It depends. Not really.

    All of these are the correct answer.

    What makes you certain that a choice or a decision you make is the correct one?

    Certainty is a construct that is dependent on knowing all variables. This is rare.

    There are so many considerations to what makes a decision the right one or the wrong one. My big challenge with making decisions is I want to spend so much time researching and waying out all the options, it can keep me from taking action. Action gives you quicker answers and more information. Then you can pivot and change your direction.

    We want comfort, guarantee, and wisdom at all turning points but that is nearly impossible.

  • The Confidence Boosting Power of Stepping Outside Your Comfort Zone EP99
    2025/09/23

    Have you ever been really scared to do something and once you did it you felt empowered and eager to do it again?

    When we purposely step outside our comfort zone we get stronger and more confident almost every time. Why is this? When we decide we can handle whatever comes our way we become unstoppable.

    Get comfortable being uncomfortable. Figure out how you handle being uncomfortable and learn to manage your mind and your actions around your response to it. The more you work on this part of your life, the faster you will begin changing your self-esteem and build the best you possible.

    Yes, you must be willing to set goals, do the work to achieve them, and do whatever it takes. However, if you are not practiced at being uncomfortable you won't be willing to stretch yourself to higher stakes. If you maintain comfort all the time, you will get comfortable results.

    Want the BIG, results. Be willing to do the uncomfortable thing. Make the uncomfortable ask. Make the uncomfortable pitch. Be the uncomfortable challenger. Be the first to pave a path.

    Your key to confidence is learning, practicing, and managing yourself around comfort!

    Go out this week and do one or two things you are not comfortable doing. How do you feel? How did your body react? What is your brain saying to you?

    What did you learn from the experience? You can learn until you try. You won't try if you aren't willing to face your fear and do it anyway! Go be uncomfortable!
