  • Why Christian Men Need Other Men | Faith, Work & Discipleship
    2026/08/11

Christian men weren’t meant to navigate work, leadership, temptation, and faith alone.

In this episode of the Covenant Eyes Podcast, Rob Stoddard sits down with Matt Trayler of CBMC (Christian Business Men’s Connection) to talk about what it looks like for men to live out their Christian faith in the workplace—and why discipleship, mentorship, and authentic community matter so much.

Matt explains how CBMC helps Christian businessmen, young professionals, executives, and other leaders discover a purpose that goes beyond a paycheck or job title. He also shares the importance of “Paul and Timothy” relationships: godly men intentionally discipling other men through encouragement, vulnerability, accountability, and life-on-life relationships.

    You’ll hear about:
    • How Christian men can live out their faith at work
    • Why identity shouldn’t be tied to a paycheck or title
    • The importance of Christian mentorship and discipleship
    • Why successful leaders still need other men in their lives
    • How older Christian men can invest in the next generation
    • Practical resources for Christian businessmen and leaders
    • How one discipleship relationship helped transform a man—and ultimately helped restore his marriage
    • Why isolation can keep men trapped in struggles like pornography

Matt also shares resources available through CBMC, including Operation Timothy, Young Professionals groups, Trusted Advisor Forums, and opportunities to connect with other Christian men.

  • Kids, AI Chatbots & the Gospel | Child Evangelism Fellowship
    2026/07/14

Fred Pry of Child Evangelism Fellowship joins Rob Stoddard to discuss AI chatbots, kids' safety, and the hope only the gospel gives.

In this episode of The Covenant Eyes Podcast, Fred Pry — a second-career missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) — shares how CEF has spent 88 years reaching children around the world with the gospel through Good News Clubs, Five Day Clubs, Christmas Party Clubs (which reached over 12.5 million kids worldwide this past Christmas), summer camps, and a growing "Children Reaching Children" peer evangelism ministry.

Fred also opens up about CEF's ministry to military children on 33 U.S. bases, and how CEF adapted after COVID to reach kids where they already are: on a screen. That includes CEF's free, ad-free video platform, the CEF Unite channel.

Rob and Fred don't shy away from the harder topics facing families today — including the rise of AI chatbots and AI "companions," and the real dangers these tools pose to kids searching for connection and advice. They talk through recent cases where AI gave children harmful responses during moments of crisis, and why real relationships — and the real hope found in Christ — can't be replaced by artificial ones.

Whether you're a parent, grandparent, pastor, or just curious about ministries doing meaningful work with kids, this conversation is a powerful reminder that even in an increasingly digital world, children can be bold witnesses for the gospel — and hope is never out of reach.
