In this episode, we tackle the confusing world of the two words in German for “you” - the informal “Du” and the formal “Sie”. 

We both hail from the UK and are now residents of Germany, speaking German in our own unique ways. 

We share our insights and experiences to assist fellow foreigners who might be new to Germany in understanding the nuances of when to “duzen” someone (say “Du”) and when it’s best to “siezen” someone (say “Sie”).
