• What a College Counselor Wishes Parents Knew About the Admissions Process Long Before College Applications Open
    2026/08/04

What if the college process starts years earlier than anyone told you?

In this episode, I’m joined by Bekka Goldberg, a college counselor who spent her career in admission and student advising at independent schools including the School of American Ballet and the Benjamin School before stepping into entrepreneurship.

Bekka and I talk about the difference between a kid who’s giving up and a kid who’s outgrowing something, and why she pushes families toward genuine interest instead of resume building. She tells me about one student whose passion for mangroves turned into something no one saw coming. We also get into what she promised herself she’d never do as a parent, and why parent support sometimes means stepping back when everything in you wants to step in.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    - When to push your kid to stay with something and when to let them walk away

    - How to help a child find the thing that lights them up without steering them

    - What admission officers read first and where the essay actually lands

    - What signing early decision commits your entire family to

    - What colleges are quietly prioritizing that applicants never get to see

    - Where AI belongs in college applications and where it gets caught

    - Why a “pointy” kid can be as compelling as a well rounded one

    - The parenting habit Bekka watches for in herself

If you’ve been searching for college counseling that fits your family, a calmer way through the admissions process, or a clear explanation of holistic admissions, this episode is your invitation to slow down and let your child lead.

  • Therapeutic Plasma Exchange for Autoimmune Health: How It Works, What Recovery Is Like, and How It Reduces Toxic Burden with Elizabeth Tringali
    2026/07/21

What if the key to reducing toxic antibodies, microplastics, and chronic inflammation was not another supplement or diet, but a procedure hospitals have used since the 1970s?

I recently had therapeutic plasma exchange, and in this episode I sat down with Elizabeth Tringali, a functional medicine practitioner and founder of Tringali Vibrant Health, which has two locations in Palm Beach County. We explain what the procedure is, why I chose it for my autoimmune health, and what I noticed afterward. We also discuss how therapeutic plasma exchange removes plasma containing antibodies and inflammatory messengers, how IVIG may be used to add beneficial antibodies back, and how the procedure may affect immune function.

Elizabeth explains who may be considered for treatment, including people dealing with autoimmune issues, long COVID, chronic fatigue, viral burden, and certain dementia-related markers. We also explore the connection between microplastic exposure, xenoestrogens, environmental chemicals, and overall toxic burden.

We get into the practical details, including what a three-hour session is like, how I prepared, what recovery looked like, and how therapeutic plasma exchange differs from EBO2. We also discuss why reducing everyday chemical exposure can be an important part of a broader wellness plan.

    In this episode we cover:

    - What therapeutic plasma exchange does to your blood

    - How TPE differs from EBO2

    - Who may be considered for therapeutic plasma exchange

    - Why autoimmune issues, long COVID, chronic fatigue, and viral particles enter the conversation

    - How microplastics, xenoestrogens, and environmental chemicals may affect the body

    - What I experienced during and after my session

    - Why albumin, nutrients, and IVIG may be added back

    - How gratitude, breathing, humming, and nervous system regulation support overall health

If you have been doing everything “right” and still do not feel like yourself, this conversation will help you better understand therapeutic plasma exchange and prepare more informed questions for your healthcare provider.

  • Considering Peptide Therapy? How Blood Work, Detox Support, and Toxin Testing Help You Start Safely with Elizabeth Tringali
    2026/07/14

Peptide therapy is everywhere right now. It is being talked about for weight loss, inflammation, gut health, skin, sleep, perimenopause, menopause, immune modulation, and even growth hormone support. But with so much information online, it can be hard to know what is real, what is safe, and where to even begin.

In this episode, I'm joined by Elizabeth Tringali, a Functional Medicine Expert and founder of Tringali Vibrant Health with two locations in Palm Beach County. She has spent the past 27 years helping patients optimize their health and has been incorporating peptides into her practice since 2018.

Elizabeth and I talk about why peptide conversations have become so noisy, how she thinks about insulin resistance, and why she wants labs before someone starts. We also discuss peptide safety, BPC 157, GLP options, growth hormone secretagogues, and the role of compounding pharmacies.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    - What peptides are and why they are getting so much attention

    - Why peptide injections should be approached with proper testing and oversight

    - What to ask about blood work, toxin testing, and overall health history

    - How to compare oral peptides, troches, sublingual options, and injections

    - How peptides may support inflammation, gut health, skin, sleep, and immune modulation

    - What women should understand about using peptide for menopause and perimenopause peptides

    - Why working with the right provider and the right compounding pharmacies matters

    - What to know about BPC 157, gut support, and systemic use

    - How to protect muscle and bone when using GLP options

    - Why cycling or rotating peptides may matter when results slow down

If you have been curious about peptides but feel overwhelmed by all the opinions online, this episode is a great place to start. Elizabeth makes a complicated topic feel much easier to understand, and she shares what she wishes more people knew before jumping into peptide therapy.

    2026/07/07

Have you ever felt like your body is holding onto stress, tension, or pain long after the moment has passed?

We deserve grounded options that help us understand what our bodies are trying to protect.

In this episode, I sit down with Nick DeVito to talk about the Neubie, a powerful wellness technology that works with the nervous system in a really unique way. We talk about how Neubie therapy may support pain relief, recovery, stress reduction, and deeper nervous system regulation, especially for people dealing with chronic stress, old injuries, burnout, or bodies that feel stuck in fight-or-flight.

Nick breaks down what a Neubie treatment actually feels like, how it differs from a traditional TENS unit, and why frequency therapy can be such an interesting tool for helping the body shift into a calmer, more restorative state. I also share my own experience with the treatment and how it helped me in a way I honestly did not expect.

    - Why pain, stress, and old injury patterns may be more connected than we realize

    - How Neufit technology uses direct current and targeted frequencies

    - Why nervous system regulation matters for healing, recovery, and daily stress

    - What Nick means by the “threat bucket,” and how it relates to stress resilience

    - How frequency therapy may support people dealing with burnout, inflammation, neuropathy, joint pain, or post-surgery recovery

    - Why athletes are using Neubie therapy for performance, mobility, and recovery

    - How Nick’s personal healing journey with Lyme disease led him into this work

    - What a Neubie treatment can feel like, and how it can help calm your nervous system

  • The New Status Symbol: Why Sustainable Fashion Is What Real Luxury Looks Like Now
    2026/06/23

How much of what surrounds you truly reflects who you are?

In a world of fast fashion, endless choices, and constant consumption, Found PB, a women-owned business was built around a different idea: surrounding yourself with things that carry meaning, support artisan craftsmanship, and inspire a more intentional living.

In this episode, I’m joined by sisters Andrea Pertnoy and Marisa Pepper, the founders of Found in Palm Beach, Florida.

I’ve known Andrea and Marisa since we were little girls in dance class, so this conversation is extra special. We talk about how their very different paths, from fashion and retail to yoga, motherhood, handmade pottery, travel, and wellness, eventually came together in the most beautiful way through their business.

Found is a reflection of how they live, what they value, and the kind of energy they want to bring into people’s homes and closets.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    - How Andrea and Marisa went from childhood dancers to building a business together as sisters

    - What inspired them to create Found Palm Beach and why the store is rooted in intention, sustainability, and storytelling

    - Why they believe the things we wear and live with should have meaning, not just look pretty

    - How they source handmade home decor from artisans around the world

    - What it really looks like to build relationships with makers, not just buy products from them

    - Why natural fabrics, slow fashion, and thoughtful consumption matter more than ever

Whether you're curious about sustainable fashion, building a purpose-driven business, navigating life's unexpected transitions, or simply creating a home that feels more like you, I think you'll find something meaningful in this conversation.

  • Coping with Grief After Losing a Loved One: How to Find Peace, Hope, and Healing After Loss with Marie Crews
    2026/06/16

Grief has a way of changing everything.

It can shift how we see time, relationships, faith, healing, and even ourselves. And while grief is one of the most universal human experiences, it is also one of the hardest things to talk about honestly.

In this episode, I’m joined by Marie Crews, a certified grief guide and life coach, for a heartfelt conversation about grief, grief support, and healing after losing a loved one. Marie shares part of her story of losing both her mother and her son in a short period of time, and how those losses reshaped the way she sees life, love, spirituality, and purpose.

Together, we talk about coping with grief, what life after loss can really look like, and why grief healing does not mean pretending the pain is gone. Marie also shares how journaling for healing became a powerful part of her own journey, and how she now uses that work to support other women, especially mothers walking through child loss and deep emotional healing.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    - Why grief is not something we simply “get over”

    - How losing a parent or losing a loved one can change the way we see life

    - Why mother grief and child loss carry layers that are hard to put into words

    - What coping with grief can look like when the pain still feels fresh

    - How spirituality can bring comfort, meaning, and hope in the midst of grief

    - Why journaling for healing can help you process emotions more honestly

    - How to help someone grieving without feeling like you need to have all the right answers

    - Why memories, signs, and connection can bring comfort after loss

    - How pain, peace, and purpose can coexist as part of grief healing

This episode is for anyone who has experienced grief, loves someone who is grieving, or wants to better understand how to hold space for life’s hardest moments.

My hope is that this conversation reminds you that even when life looks completely different than you imagined, you are not alone and healing is still possible.
