• Saying Goodbye and the top 10 tips I learned from our guests
    2024/02/01

Thanks to listeners + thanks to all the incredible guests!

    • Believe in yourself and your business—and be passionate about it
    • Doing anything well takes time or money, usually both, especially at the outset
    • Don’t be intimidated by the business details - but don’t ignore them
    • Ask for help—biggest mistake people made was trying to do it alone
    • Failures aren’t a bad thing, they’re just stepping stones
    • Look for programs that can help you take your biz to next level
    • Take notes on what others are doing, but you don’t have to do what everyone else is doing—look for white space
    • Marketing matters, and it’s imperative to have a product that you believe in
    • Opt out of embarrassment!
    • You can do anything, but you can’t do everything—and that’s why I’m signing off for now.

  • A new way to think about goal setting for your business in 2024
    2023/12/21

As we approach the end of 2023, Molly breaks down her favorite tips for personal & business goal setting for a new year:

    • Good, Better, Best - Love this for races, but works well for a higher level look at business as well—what went well, what could have been better, what do you need to be at your best?
    • Social media, marketing, P&L statements, taxes—gahhh
    • Defining success - slow growth vs fast growth, going all in vs letting it happen. What do you want versus what does the optimal day/week look like for you? How can those two overlap?
    • Have big goals, but bring your Resolutions down to ones that are small + more daily/weekly in nature vs sweeping.
    • Celebrate success when it comes! Know you don’t have to have it all figured out / it doesn’t need to be going amazingly just yet. Most businesses take 18-24 months before returning ANY profit
