  • I'm Still Here (Trigger Warning)
    2023/01/21

Hey, y'all. I'm back, but while I was gone, I went through some pretty intense things, so I have to warn you that this episode has some trigger warnings. It involves depression, anxiety, implied suicidal thoughts, and there is a fair amount of crying toward the end.

I struggle with posting this and being this vulnerable publicly, but there should be no shame in talking about mental health. So, this is my story.

  • Quiet People, Loud Minds
    2022/11/25

You may have noticed I was gone for a week. Unfortunately, I was sick, which I explain in this "rust-covered" episode. I also expand on what I have learned about my Enneagram type.

The challenges I faced recently were making phone calls, wanting to ask people to be guests on the podcast and not doing it, and also some claustrophobic symptoms during double bingo sessions.

My intended topic of the week was always needing to see the exit and getting an end seat in all situations, but I got a bit steamed about things and passionately talk about several introvert topics, including lifting up my fellow introverts and telling them to take the time they need to themselves, because the only constant in everyone's life is themself.

This week's question is: What season do you thrive during?

  • How and Where to Find Your Safety Person
    2022/11/11

This week's episode is being recorded after a pretty good week, though I did struggle with the concept of speaking my mind, which is why I talk about the importance of an introvert having what I call a "Safety Person". Someone you can talk about with everything without fear or judgement. I even go into detail about my own and how I benefit from having that person in my life.

This week's question is: Have you heard about the Enneagram, and, if so, do you feel it helps you understand yourself more?

  • Social Burnout is a Real Thing!
    2022/11/04

In the very first episode of The Blanket Fortress, I talk about how I suffered from social burnout recently, the ways I identified what it was, and how I came back from it, as well as the lessons learned from experiencing it.

This week's questions is: What is your biggest challenge as an introvert?

  • Your Comfort Zone is Not a Limitation - Show Trailer
    2022/11/01

In this short trailer, I explain what the podcast is going to look like, as well as why I started it. The motto of this show is "Your Comfort Zone is Not a Limitation", and that is what I discuss here and will be the basis of embracing our introvertness together.
