That is, since both the Defensive Tackle and Cornerback classes in this 2025 NFL Draft are so deep, we as Bills fans ought to prepared for Brandon Beane to play to their respective depth. At the intersection of team needs and a particular draft prospect's value lies something of a mystery for us beyond the walls of One Bills Drive, for we can't say whether Brandon Beane ranks, for example, third down defense over run-stuffing from the interior.     Kaiir Elam was not the wrong draft pick. I repeat, Kaiir Elam was not the wrong draft pick. Kaiir Elam being a bad draft pick is not the story of the 2022 draft. You've got it all wrong, you've all got it wrong. The real story of the 2022 draft tells of a General Manager in Brandon Beane who had a hole at cornerback that needed filling and he filled it. That's the story. And the moral of the story is that If you have a need at a position heading into a draft, you are best served, most likely to exit that draft having filled the hole, by taking out insurance, that is, by double dipping.

    James Pearce Jr., Nic Scourton, and Landon Jackson have varying likelihoods of becoming Buffalo Bills come April 24 and 25 (probably not April 26). I don't particularly want to see any of them get drafted by my favorite team (that's the Bills, of course, hence the name and subject matter of the podcast - HELLO!) but, as I've spoken about before - and will again, and again - I want to prepare myself to be surprised instead of being disappointed once Beane starts making trades and picks. And, so, this is a love story, or at least, a like story, or at least, a story about EDGE rushers who I previously disliked, but on whom I am coming around... and also 12 cornerbacks: Maxwell Hairston; Shavon Revel; Trey Amos; Darien Porter Jr.; Azareye'h Thomas; Benjamin Morrison; Jacob Parish; Zy Alexander; Nohl Williams; Cobee Bryant; Mello Dotson; and Dorian Strong.
